Sorry I hit send by accident- However, if you cut the lace you would need to reinforce the edges, so you don’t lose more hair. Basically your customizing your own piece and would still need to anchor and clips would work unless you bonding somehow. Sometimes not worth all the work but sometimes it is if it works for what you need . 👍😀
Hello Dana, this is the information I've been looking for and I hope I can do this because I see wigs in colors I'd like but that color never seems to be in a topper. So, I love The Candace, by Henry Margu in color 626H and would like to make it into a topper, but since I know nothing at all about wigs I wasn't sure if I could do this to a wig with a lace front, I've never even cut a lace front, but I do always cut bangs in my toppers. Could I do this to The Candace, by Henry Margu wig? I see you are in Dallas, that is where I'm from, but now live in New Hampshire. Miss a lot of things in Texas but I love New England. Yes the base needs to cover the area of hair loss and the extended hair just needs to be similar in style/shape of your remaining hair to blend and look natural
