@Chuka Torres I messed my hair up some kinda serious the other week thanks to Corona shuttin down all the shops & forcing me to cut my own hair, but instead of giving up I am gonna keep trying cause everybody says that’s how you learn... I’m spending the next few weeks really trying to study the blending technique (which I struggled with) & out of all the vids I’m watching rn, I feel most comfortable with yours cause you’re literally going step by step & ALSO explain every step in plain English so that it makes sense even to non-barbers like myself... Still have a lot of learning/studying to do, but thank you so much for taking the time to post this. It’s one thing to have a gift & use it to your own advantage, but when you use that gift to help others to be great, that’s priceless. Thanks again bro ✊🏾💯
@@tmoney5976 Thankfully I did! It’s still a work in process for me because I have no siblings & you can’t legally cut out here without a license (which means I can only practice on myself & my hair only grows back so fast lol). It legit takes me 2-3 hours to cut my hair, mainly because I’m tryin so hard to NOT mess up my hair lol. Dummy heads would be nice, but that ain’t an option for me rn considering the cost. So yea, it’s been a slow process lol but I’m learning something new each time I give myself a cut, I’m avoiding previous mistakes & gradually improving. Just takes a lot of patience in my case, since I have nobody else to practice on 🤦🏾♂️ lol. Tapering the back, clipper over comb & adding texture to the top w/ shears are prob my 3 biggest struggles rn because of the awkward angles you gotta place your wrist in when doing any of the above on your own head smh. I also broke my half guard, but that’s another conversation lmao.
I'm not a barber but I want to be. I think what you do is dope. I like the transition that the barber make happen for the people. The people come in rough but leave smooth...
I like that black barber pole , in the back ... great advice man. One of my goals this year is to master shear cutting straight hair. I handle the bottom but I feel my way around the top. So I'm investing in some videos but also searching for a one or two day workshop in the USA. Eric , ATL by way of DMV 👍🏽
Shit so hard to do when you cut your own hair, but I am mastering this. Would love to link with other self-barbers. Been cutting my own hair since 6th grade....I still want to know how to zero gap the blades properly or better yet where I can send them to to have them done.
NOW YOU ARE TEACHING US THE BARBER ,,, I WILL KEEP WATCHING YOUR DIDEO UNTELL I WILL LEARN FROM YOU ALSO I LIKE THE WAY YOU EXPLAIN TO US MAY ALMIGHTY GOD BLESS YOUR HANDS WORK FOREVER IN JESUS NAME
definitely feel you on the tighter blend at the bottom, my only question is what tips/strategies do you have on shortening the time of a cut, i average about an hour for a really detailed clean fade, any tips on how to save time
I appreciate the comment if your fade is loose then it's not tight enough at the bottom and if u can make a video showing how stretch a blend like a drop fade or something like that over all thanx bruh I really be tryin to get my shit up watchin
So for the wahl system the level has to be opened to blend the line out ? Inquiring because I used to use andis masters and got the line out with lever closed and i just purchased magic clip cordless and having a bit of a problem adjusting to it.
great job once again, what are, and how much are those clippers you are using for the fade? they are strong for a rechargeable clipper I was in doubt about getting some for not being sure if they would be strong enough. but now I know. if they wasn't good you wouldn't be using them. great job B stay up.
