thank u sir video was great..i have one question...we have learnt that stone, air and bone fully reflect sound and are hyperechoic i.e they appear WHITE and cast acoustic shadow as how u have mentioned so sir how come in this video the ribs are appearing BLACK ?? kindly explain
The ribs appear bright white as they reflect all the ultrasound waves. The black area is posterior to the ribs where no ultrasound waves are able to penetrate. Similar to the shadowing behind brightly echoed gallstones.
