THANK YOU! You kept it short and to the point! You answered my question without forcing me to sit through a bunch of extraneous fluff. You ROCK!!! Just got my spa set up, water's good, I topped it off when I noticed the highest one sucking air when I sloshed the water and it briefly dipped below a jet. Now I suspect an air lock. Thanks for the tips!

This is the solution that worked for me. Last time this happened I was able to burp the air out using a plunger, but this time around, that did not work. There are several other videos, all with different methods, but this one worked perfectly for me and the problem was solved in about 5 minutes (after taking the cover off). Thanks!

Does this remove airlock from all areas or just near the pump

Opened my tub to do the weekly water test and had the DR code. Hit P and all 3 pumps started and were working perfectly. As soon as the temperature increased by 1 degree, (was set for 98, but water temp was only at 82) it shut down. I did this 2x and then got the drY code. I read some threads on other forums and removed the filters, but no change. At this point, I'm trying to find the heater pump. Can't believe it is an air lock, since all 3 jet pumps work. Also, it is always covered, so I'm pretty sure I can rule out a debris issue. Any help would be appreciated.

Master Spa 1050 LSX master blaster is air locked any tips on how to fix the issue? Where is the pump located?

Depending on the year of the hot tub the pump is going to be located on one of the sides of the hot tub. It is normally located closer to the foot jets themselves. The easiest way to find the pump is to turn that pump on and listen to where the noise of the pump is coming from. Then take the side off where you hear the sound. I assume that you have tried to turn the pump on/off multiple times to try and push the air bubble out?

Except the air lock won't allow my control panel to tun on on my spa until it's fixed so no way to run the pump to fix it. Suggestions ?

An air lock isn't going to stop your hot tub from turning on. I would say that your breaker is tripping.

@@Masterspaparts so if it doesn't turn on? It's not the breaker, and the topside control panel is saying it's on and working, and my hot tub is less than a year old.

This did not fix it. This did not fix it at all. It made it ten times worse. Now I have a leak that won’t stop because loosening the pipe apparently broke a seal and even with the jets off it’s leaking all over the pump.
