Yes its just a normal sealed lead acid battery like the battery you have in your vehicle, the scooters batteries are just a bit smaller than your cars.
Good unboxing video. You covered every step well. Did the front basket come with mounting brackets? Is there a video about installing the brackets and basket?
There is a mounting bracket that comes with the scooter that you would install with the screws and once that is installed, you would just have to slide the basket over the bracket.
So you have two batteries to run this mobility cart does that mean, you have two 12 volt batteries providing 24 volts to run this cart? Now these batteries are rechargeable correct?
This unit is off-read capable. It was designed and built specifically to be driven off-road. I will add a link on this comment for you to the webpage for this unit and you can watch a video on the description tab of Marc driving it off-road and through tall grass. Hope this helps! marcsmobility.com/pride-baja-wrangler-2-heavy-duty-mobility-scooter.html
Lots of makers seem to think at 69 and disabled you still want to know how fast it goes. I don't care. I want something that will support a 6 foot 245 lb man. And they show a thin college kid on it, what a joke. We re only going a mile in an old neighborhood to get a few groceries. Unfortunately my place has a pretty steep hill. Power not speed. We re retired, we don't care.
Thanks for your opinion but you would be surprised how many 69 year old men and women call and ask questions about chairs and scooters and want to know how fast they go so we tell people cause to be honest, more people ask how fast units go than not so that's why we say so on our videos as well as our webpages for the different units. I understand you don't care but that's why we put it on the videos. Not sure where you are seeing a thin college age kid on a scooter, it was Marc in this video. If you are wanting power, this unit will give you power with two 75A batteries (optional upgrade to 100A batteries) and dual motors putting out a total of 2,200W each for a total of 4,400W you will have power for sure. Again thanks for your opinion.
I see what you are speaking about. It wouldn't matter if its steel or not. The battery that is in most cars are sitting on the frame or a mount for the battery. I know in some vehicles there is a plastic box they sit in but wouldn't make the battery operate any differently.
Hi A new version was released and its 450lb capacity and up to 22" wide seat. We can offer a great price but you must email us at info@marcsmobility.com
I am moroccan and i am handicapped how mach i need scootmobiel drive and thank you(je suis marocaine et je suis handicappée combiee jai besoin du scootmobiel drive et merci)
I like to own one here lately I've been in the hospital for two and a half months and now I'm going to crutches trying to figure out a way to get around and I only get my social security disability check which is just a little over $1,000 a month and is it possible that I can play come hold all the month till one of these things paid off anyway that's my question that's my comment thank you
So we do take deposits until the unit is paid off, once paid off it will be shipped to the customer. Would this be your only way to get around? This unit isn't made for use inside of a home, this is strictly an outside off-road scooter. If you are looking for something that you can be in and out of the home, give us a call and we can ask you some questions to narrow down the selection of units to find the best one suited for you and your needs. Our number is 800-677-6293. Give us a call and any of us would be more than happy to assist you.
You would have to send us some photos of the chair/scooter you are wanting to trade in. We need some photos from all 4 sides of the unit as well as a pic of the joystick or tiller while turned on and send the photos to info@marcsmobility.com. In the email, let us know that you are looking at the Wrangler 2 and want to do a trade in and see how much Marc would give for your unit and we can move forward and if you are wanting to place an order, we can place an order at that time.
On the Wrangler and the Victory LX Sport, you would just lift straight up. It may be a little difficult due to the weight and the awkwardness of lifting the seat. Sometimes if someone is trying to lift, they may put a small amount of angle when lifting and the seat post will get bound up so it helps if there are 2 people lifting at the same time and it usually is able to come off easier. Hope this helps!
There is no problem with this unit. If you watch the video of Marc doing his review on this unit, you will see it running through tall grass and hills with no problem. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Y6GDDTaCuro.html
This is an older video and the wrangler is not made anymore. Pride will be releasing an all new Baja Wrangler later this year. I don't know the price of it yet.
