My mods are a mix of my poor choices from 5-7 years ago and auto assign. As a result, using /profile gives me a total mod score of 0.132 (which, at my GP, should match somewhere around 2.3) so, take it from me, NEVER use automods.
I’m glad I watched this. While I’m still an early game player at 1.8 milling gp, it’s extremely beneficial to fully understand the modding. I figured I wouldn’t really focus too heavily on modding into more later in the game but you were able to break down modding strategy really well. So far, I’ve really just looked at the primary and made sure the mod had speed and the obviously made sure the sets matched.
Hey, thanks for sharing! Mods are really confusing and there's not real way to master it because they could always technically be better. Very difficult element of the game to balance
Yeah, its easy to set up the set bonus and primary stats but getting "perfect secondary stats" is stress-inducing. After learn the hard way, I know why secondary speed stat have different font colour, they're so rare. Now, i dont really care much about secondary stats as long its have offense, crit chance and crit damage.
Wait, what? You can't roll a secondary that is the same as the primary? Boy, that explains why my holy grail of Health / Health % / Health % has never shown up... lmfao
i have a question; at around the 18:40 mark, u mention not to slice mods higher unless they have already great stats.. what would u say would make for a sliceable mod ?
To slice to 6 dots, I'd try to shoot for over 15 speed, a primary stat that benefits from slicing like health or or offense, and then some good secondary stats for whatever purpose you have
I have a question. We all know there will always be a credit shortage, so as a low lvl player (52), should I invest in low quality mods (1,2,3 and 4 dots) as it can get very pricey and will be absolutely useless as soon as I start getting 5 dots mods. Or should I keep my credits and invest the bare minimum in these bad mods until I get some 5 dots ?
Yeah, lower dot mods are a absolute pain. I would like--Budget half a million credits a day on pure mods just so that you are making progress without killing yourself. (I was in that situation recently, that's what I did and I'm out of it now.) Note: If you use raid currency for credits you will no longer have a big shortage.
On auto mod (tank) they always recommend defense mods......so confused now...if auto mod is that bad... reason I started doing auto was cause I wasted so much credit on mods ..
Auto is generally dumb, just because it picks the right set doesn't mean it is good selections overall. Yes, you want defense sets on good tanks, but you want protection primaries and as many survivability stats on secondaries as you can.
Can you do a video on stats? I'm currently trying to optimize my Daka mods and I'm very confused about health vs defense. It would be helpful to understand how mod stat boosts translate into damage mitigation and effective health/protection. I also have a hard time comparing mod quality, like comparing health% + health vs health% + defense%
For Daka, definitely load up on only health! Her health increases over time so that is where it is the most valuable on her, plus it affects her healing I believe. For most tanks, you want defense sets with protection primaries
Well keep in mind that when you slice the MOD, there is chance that slice will end up at the sacrificed stat. I remember sacrficing protectuon for crit chance, crit damge or offense but i got protection instead😂
Another thing to add is GG should have health mods as his offence is related to how much max health he has. Ive seen a GG with 6 dot offence mods and was thinking if that even made a difference to him.
@@songeta I went ahead and did the special because I don't have my ufu team quite built up enough to use her lead. Her special is just as good so I did it.
The mods that worthy to keep is at least have 5 dots since they can be upgraded to 7 dots. So if you have a GOOD 5-dots MOD dont sell them. Those 1 dot till 4 dots is good used as temporary till you got 5 dots ones
