Offer value without imposing 6. Contribute to the things he does. Get interested in the things he loves. 7. Pray for and about him.

The part about giving time to process...very difficult. Thanks for the Analogy. Esther was giving him time and space to process. Mary too... Communicate it; leave it with him, leave it with God. Give God time to work on your behalf. (Lol. What do I really need Jews for).
