Today I wanted to walk through some techniques for undoing your spells and ritual if necessary. This includes stopping a spell, undoing a spell as well as managing unwanted spellwork.
This video, however, does not cover undoing spells cast by others, that will be its own video.
Please remember the content of this video is my own practice and experiences, these may not work well for everyone. Be sure to do your research and find a technique that you find works well for you.

I think for the most part when it comes to "undoing" spells I see it more as dismantling them like dismantling jars, pouches simply by taking them apart and disposing of them properly. . But for spells that are sort of directed at a person or situation, it's almost like you have to "undo" it by neutralizing the spell by doing it with the opposite intention, and hopefully, you can almost "catch up" to the original intention before it manifests otherwise it may be too late if it has already started to manifest. but yeah your so right I've never seen a book, website or source that has a countermeasure other than a few curse in books but its rare

Amazing video as always! There are some reversing spells that work similar to return to sender,such as reversing a candle. But its always a risk bc it could backfire. The best option is dismantling the items and cleansing. You're so right about modern books not even mentioning that reversing or undoing a spell is an option. If you are going to summon something, please know first how to banish it. If you are going to do spells, learn the basis and how to deal with the possible outcome. Divination before a spell is a really good advice

I didn't realize anything could be done to undo spells. Thank you for your information, here. I wonder, however, can bindings go dormant? Most have done the job well, and I wish to leave all at and in peace now. I do very little spellwork, but I have quite a few books on it. One of the first things I read about this is to read as much as you can BEFORE you do the spells. Life is busy for me but I indeed still love to study as much as possible. Thank you for your videos. 🕯🤓🌟💖

Just my experience: I have learned to pick up the working, focus my intent and declare “Thank you for all you’ve done, I now decommission you.” I immediately felt the energy shift and release. I’m glad I listened to my hunches, as this saves me the bother of having to disassemble and cleanse every item. I’d only do that if there’s something in it I’d want to repurpose, like a bottle🤷🏻‍♀️

This is a very valuable resource. Thank you for putting this together, Hearth! I wanted to add something that I like to do, whenever I work for or sometimes 'on' other people. I almost always have a physical representation of my working, that I can either keep or send to the other people for them to keeping the working safe. What I like to do in both cases, is to energetically bind the spell ingredients to a (taper) candle. I like to keep the energetic connection to the working, so that I can put more energy into this working, if I want to or if it's needed. Plus, I can always cleanse the candle and release my part in this working. (And also instruct the person who has the physical spell remnants, how to dispose it correctly.) Lately, I also like to use red thread on my candles to represent bindings, that I can then unbind, if I want to. I like to find a way to have an actual physical representation of all the energetical aspects of my spell. It's works best for me. This is what I like to do when there are more people involved in my spellcraft. If it's just me... I have to say that I never had to undo spellwork, yet. But I always like to know more about how to do it. 😁

Thank you for this, many do not have this information! You should write your own book on this subject, as you have experience spells go wrong, make a legacy for future witchcraft mistake for others?? I know you probably do not have the time, but make it! It is essential that every witch knows how to reverse spells!! GREAT grrrrrreat information. spell books normally talk about how to do a spell only and leave you with a working that you don't know what to do with, even if it serves its purpose, let alone the ones that go wrong!

Funny, I just did a working that I don't necessarily regret, but I want to undo before continuing with the situation. Although I practice Eastern magick, I'm glad I saw this video as a kind of push to get me to undo the working.

Lovespells: Are most common. Sometimes you also use elementaRs in spells, similar to dolls that you make yourself and breathe life into, so to speak. For example, you send them to someone to bring thoughts and feelings to someone, and during the spell you also have to order them to come back after the work is done. What would you do if the person to whom the spell applied is already dead and you still have this elementar? I think you could do a ritual to cut the cords and strings in love. Do you share this opinion? Likewise, with a love spell you often make other people stay away from the person you love. But something like that would possibly prevent the deceased from moving on, even after death. I think doing a routine where you let someone go in love and also remove the "ban" from other people and apologize might work. What do you think about that? or other viewers?

oh, I was just writing a comment describing my situation that I want a spell to stop using my energy to keep itself running and this might be a solution. I think that one thing that wasn't said that would certainly help, especially when trying to remember what was done in a working is to write everything down. This is something that I have heard mentioned in a number of other videos and this is one of the reasons why. It's hard enough to do a complicated ritual in reverse to undo it, but it becomes even more difficult if you are trying to do it entirely from memory.

I think there is one more way to manage an unwanted spell, but it can be very painful to do - by removing the physical situation the energy was aimed at. This is especially painful when you were so keen on manifesting it and it was your deepest wish - if it turns out to be harmful or too strong an energy it might require a sacrifice to detach the energy, take away the physical precondition it needs to manifest any further and make it easier to dissolve the energy again. This can of course only be done if it doesn’t cause any physical harm to a person or living creature. It should exclusively be applied to situations only like e.g. quitting a job or avoiding contact etc. Obviously the absolute final resort if the damage of the spell is bigger than the sacrifice.

Any book recommendations for traditional witchcraft practice regarding what herbs are good for what types of things? Currently I just use whatever based on how I instinctively feel/old folklore but I would love a book just so I can expand my knowledge! Any help is much appreciated

I use "the encyclopedia of magical herbs" and "botanical curses and poisons; the shadow lives of plants", interchangeably. The later is similar to the encyclopedia, despite the seemingly dark name, both share lots of information on herbs and their magical uses.

Trad witchcraft is all about your local biome as opposed to using foreign plants/herbs. Research herbs native to your land and then research the magical associations of such local herbs and use accordingly. Depending on where you live, certain books might not be applicable.

thank you very much! these are really useful information and yes it's difficult to find resources on this topic in particular. I'm not sure if any of the mentioned could be applied to my situation - cause what if a spell keeps sort of siphoning/using my energy and keeps running feeding on it but I don't have the physical items anymore or remember the words - can I stop it from doing it but not reverse the spell? Like say, a spell was made to get rid of ex, the ex is gone, but my energy keeps being siphoned off/used to keep the ex away. And I wouldn't want to reverse it, don't want his stalking/controlling persona back, but can I just stop it? Sort of like 'k thnx, please spell stop feeding of off me' kinda way?

perhaps a dumb question but for saying your essay backwards (i’ll use the lord’s prayer for example) do you mean starting with ‘amen’ or do you mean literally saying each individual word backwards like ‘ruo rehtaf ohw tra ni nevaeh’ or both? 😅

i think it's either of those. whichever is more workable I guess. like if you can do each letter individually then go for it. id personally prefer to reverse words instead of letters cuz that would be less of a tongue twister :P

Even a person or relationship is not longer in your life does not mean that the bond you created is not working anymore. You create a karmic bond between you and others with ervery spellwork you do and that even leads to respnsobilities in later lifes. A good reason to undo your spellwork in this lifetime.and if possible, not to do any more occult work.

My problem is that it was a spell using a rare lunar eclipse and a contract to myself to follow specific rules of which I only remember a few as well as a few charged items, some of which were burned in the ritual, so if what you say is true it will be harder to undo than I thought, but not impossible.

I always reuse the crystals, it's important to cleanse them well and recharge them afterwards. Never reused a candle, but I know that many people do that too, by cleansing them. Of course if they were very specific and dressed with oils and herbs, or carved with sigils, you can just use them for the same kind of spell.

So i had a conversation with a friend where we agreed to exchange a bit of luck with my hair with her luck in love, and tgen shook hands. There was magic intention behind it but it was a handshake and verbal confirmation of exchange, casual as it was. Ever since my hair has gotten worse, and i understand i took it for granted. And not all spells can be undone at any time. You can't reverse a fertility spell once the person is already pregnant🤷

Well removing a fertility spell would mean that it wouldn't be as easy to get pregnant the next time. It's not going to remove the current baby.

@@juliereminiec4937 yes, but, depending on the case, it might not be enough to end the effects. For exemple: a gardener binds a small tree to a wooden post so it won't grow crooked. Once enough time has passed you can remove the post and the bindings and the tree won't grow in any other direction. If you bind two people together, undoing the spell might not bring them apart, familiarity, love, hate, being used to be arround each other might keep them toghter even without the spell. If you bound a person from doing sometinhg they might start doing It the moment the spell is undone, but they might completly got out of the habit of doing and not do the thing even without the spell.

Sorry but why would you want to undo spellwork? If you have created your sacred space, prepared and performed the ritual, and your intent was clear then why would you even try to undo a spell..... Sorry but I have been doing magic for years and have never even tried to undo a spell. I was taught that preperation is key, thats where you manifest you desires if you willy nilly start casting you end up in a mess. Witchcraft seems to be falling down the rabbit hole. Hearth this comment is in no way aimed at you personally but at the wider pagan/wiccan world. To thine own self be true is something i firmly believe in
