How To Unlock Broadhead Climbing Arrows Early - Rise of the Tomb Raider 

For anyone who did this glitch (ie, me) and have reached this point through the game: keep going until you reach the trade shack near the gulag then use the climbing arrows near there. Keep going and you'll continue the story.

How does one figure this out You knew exactly where to go and it still took you 5 min.

WARNING, DO NOT TRY THIS. the game will not register that you have the arrows if you do it this way. Collect them the normal way. But I will say it’s cool that you found this.

This still works but there really isn't any need to do it early. If you do, when you come to the part of the game where you get them legitimately, it may look like your game is glitched as the quest marker tries to get you to open a chest you have already opened. Just proceed to where the coin shop guy is in the Soviet installation and proceed up the wall by the camp fire and your game will continue.

Still works January 02, 2021. Either way I personally would not reccomend doing the glitch, it's not worth it and it doesnt give you any type of advantage. If you do use the glitch, when you get to the part where you actually are supposed to, the game will tell you to look for the strongbox but obviously you won't be able to open it because you already did with the glitch, so what you need to do is go to the Supply Shack and use them there to get up a cliff, then just keep going forward until Lara says that she needs to find shelter and then a cinematic about her and Ana pops up. Hope this helps, sorry for the long message

Still works. Did it on PC (12.07.2021) Thanks for ur hlp btw. And those documents dont spawn untill that part of story is triggered , so u cant 100 percent that zone utill then.

There is supposed to be a strong box and document on top of the comms tower base camp..I have done the glitch and climbed up, but neither of those two items appear? Is it because of the glitch?

i unlocked the arrows by doing this glitch but now i progressed and when i get to the part where i actually have to unlock the arrows the game is stuck and i cannot go any further as the game is asking me to open a strongbox which has already been open. Please help

I've wasted more than a hour trying to do this glitch, managed it, and now I discovered I can get this arrow just by proceding with the story... complete waste of time, and when you get to the mission where you need to rescue jonah, the game gets bugged. I almost restarted everything, but if you keep going you will continue normally

what's the point of this glitch exactly? You can get the arrows naturally through game right?

People don't do this glitch. For some reason I thought I had to in order to 100% the game but now it forever thinks I don't have them because I opened the box early. Play the game, you'll get them eventually and won't have this dumb glitch I regret.

I did this, it worked but now my game is one big glitch... can`t see the last document on the top of the hill with the communications tower base.. it should be on the table, the blue light is there but no document.. I`ve tried restarting the ps4, fast travel out of the soviet and back into it, still no document.. I`m missing some survical caches and strong boxes as well, haven`t checked if they`re missing bc of the glitch as well tho..

I did the glitch and unlocked the arrows, but the last document, strong box, and survival cache by the shop that you have to climb to using the arrows aren’t appearing even though it appears on the map. Please Help

September 2020 worked on Xbox 360 as a side note when u get to the part of the story where u r to get broad head to progress story u have go to the shack use the broad head climb up and keep walking to top until Lara says got to find shelter there will be a cut scene of Lara's father and Anna then u can continue with story

Thanks man using the glitch to get the arrows and the arrows ONLY, didn't break the game at all for me. I grabbed the arrows then fast traveled back to the campfire I had stopped my progression at then continued the campaign to the end with no problems!

How do you do this if you dont have have any wood and you’re stuck? Cause im on a level where your stuck in the cave and the only way out is by doing that and i have no wood. Any suggestions?

Thanks for your RU-vid. I tried your workaround to get the Broadhead arrow and it worked. I wanted to get the 14th Strongbox above the Supply Shack. I was able shoot the Broadhead arrows into the soft wood and climb the wall. When I got to the top, the 14th Strongbox was not there. I guess there is also supposed to be a Muriel up there also and I could not find it. I guess I have to wait until I progress further in the story to see if I can get the last few collectables.

I can't get the part between the red wall and the pipe for anything. I've sat here trying for half and hour and nothing. I'm on pc if that makes a difference

Thanks! First glitch I’ve ever used in a game. The only problem I came across was that the zip line didn’t show up that’s suppose to be above the mural that goes to the tree that takes you back to the bottom. Fast travelled out, but wanted the Zipper trophy.
