Trying to play a DVD from UK, Australia or Japan in USA? 👉Get WinX DVD Ripper Platinum to unlock DVD region for playing any foreign DVDs: bit.ly/3vsvvYs
Thanks so much! I have a similar ripping software, and I had no idea that I can rip a movie that I brought from a thrift store (movie 300) that won't play on my PC.
I have a Sony UBP-X800 UHD Blu-ray player. It will not play ordinary DVD's purchased from outside Australia. (I have two Blu-ray DVD players that have been altered to play other region DVD's) Should your instructions work for my Sony Ultra HD Blu-ray DVD player? I couldn't make it work myself and there is no "Setup" button on the remote either. If not do you have any suggestions please? I see there are a couple of solutions entailing soldering a small Circuit board but I would prefer a different option if possible.
@@scoobyblox2539 I'm really sorry, I don't know. :( I use a modded PS3 to watch all region DVDs and Blu-Rays. First and foremost i'd recommend getting the exact model of your DVD player, might help narrowing down results!
You can always buy an international dvd player. It's not made like the United States one. That only will play movies made in the United States. International dvd player play CDs,vcd and dvd.
Yes but in the video, it says that the digital file you get from the DVD will be region free. I mean I haven't tried this yet so I don't know if this works or not, but if it does work, you could copy the file onto a new blank disc so technically, if this method does work, then it would indeed be region free. Again, I'm not 100% sure if this method is legit or not, but yeah.
@@alexslusher16 The video title is insinuating that you can completely remove region codes from the DVD ENTIRELY, menus and all. When you rip the video, you get the movie, but not the menus. And the menus could have bonus features like games and so on them. I'll take one of my old DVDs, Thomas's Come Ride the Rails. That is a region 1 release. Someone from the UK, which has Region 2, could want that release for the bonus content on the disc. When they use this method, true, they get the EPISODES on the disc, but not the bonus content, and even if you get the title where the bonus stuff is, it's not interactive. I spent way too long on this.
@@nmuniz2 ok, at least you cleared up for me what you meant. Actually, I don't use the program they used in the video but I do use Make MKV which is basically the same thing, let's you rip movies from discs but I do know that some Ripping softwares allows you to chose what you want to rip so I'm guessing you can still rip bonus features. As for online games, I see your point but 1, most online games on a disc would most likely have been shut down, then again, I'm not aware of many discs with online games included & 2, who would want a disc for an online disc?
You need to use 'anydvd hd' first to unlock the dvd disk and then use this software or any other video converter to rip the dvd. Pro tip: Step 1 : unlock the dvd disk with anydvd hd program. Step 2: use IsoBuster to make 1:1 backup of dvd iso, without any region locks. And that's how you make a perfect backup with everything included like the dvd menu.
dont buy a region free player they only do pal dvds and cant play blue ray dvds !!! here is what you really want a region free blue ray player that has region A , B , C , and regions 0 up to 8 or 9 ......it has to have A , B, C , !!!! and your player will never lock you out if you change the region of the dvd player you can change the region in till dooms day its end less . they are high in price and if you paying 49 dollars for a region free player your going to be limited on what it can play
Hi there, it usually not take a long time to load a full DVD. If you have a problem on that, please report it to our support team(support@winxdvd.com) with a screenshot😊
I have a question for you, for example, I have a blu ray dvd player, region free, but I bought a regular dvd, which means there is no sign or mark in dvd like all region, will it work?
I have a question. I don't know where my remote is and I recently[maybe by accident] bought a region 2 DVD. Will it work on my region 1 player or should I send it back?
Hi, if you want to play region-locked DVDs on Vizo Smart TV, turning the DVD into a digital copy by using DVD ripping software on a PC, and transferring it to the TV will be a quick and easy solution.
Hello there :), actually some DVD players are unable to bypass DVD region codes due to the backward technical level, and we recommend ripping DVD movies to Digital Videos by using related software.
This regioning is so stupid! It’s a war on piracy! All it does is give ppl headaches! 🤕🤬 I am the Jack Sparrow of DVDs! 🏴☠️ My trusty DVD player is my Black Pearl, my trusty remote is my sword!
