How To Unlock EVERYTHING for Sandbox in Jurassic World Evolution 2! 

I wish they would just make it where if you completely campaign you unlock everything in sandbox

I'm still not sure how I feel about everything being so damn expensive. especially research and digs. I could understand synthesizing dinosaurs maybe, but not that.

Some dinosaurs are limited to certain challenge maps. That's why you couldn't see acrocanthosaurus or majungasaurus in the research tab

I’m very conflicted about how I feel for these requirements. On one hand it gets me to play majority of the content in JWE so I’m getting bang for my buck but on the other hand I’m a sandbox guy. I just wanna make a bio man 😭 Call me cynical but it’s easier to pad out time by making players go through all the content knowing most of the player base wants to play sandbox so the game seems like it’s worth $60 and not just a huge expansion pack. If the player could just play campaign then sandbox then this game would kinda feel hollow and only worth about $40. The devs definitely did this on purpose

you basically have to complete everythign before playing sandbox. I bought the game just wanted to play sandbox ! other modes are hard af

if anyone is confused about this, ill clear some things up. For 1, you can unlock every dinosaur from challenge mode. youll have to play a few challenge mode maps and unlock them through research. you can also unlock some through chaos theory if you want but you dont have to.

I just want a mode where you start with a couple dinos around 40% DNA, and you have to unlock everything in that mode via research and expeditions. I sorta had that in the last game with the campaign. Now I've got nothing.

I know a lot of people wish everything is unlocked if you beat the campaign but I don't mind this. Challenge mode essentially is like classic JPOG and I don't mind doing new challenge modes with specific dinos in mind. It will make each dino unlock special and each challenge mode unique.

Each challenge map is limited in what donors you can get . I believe if you want the acro/char you can get it on either Germany or the last challenge map . But simply some dinoes aren't available on certain challenge maps .

Weirdly i really like having to unlock specific speicies in chaos and campaign cuz it kinda forces you to do everything, smart tacting from Frontlier actually

Man.. im new on the game and i quickly go to sand box there, spend like 5 hours building stuff and cages, lagoon etc, and i realize i dont have a single dinosaur to put in there😂😂

shame that hardcore sandbox players have to unlock everything.

Turn off the scientists. All dinosaurs unlocked. From the settings. Go to settings, you can turn off the scientists. And all dinosaurs unlocked automatically. It’s free.

Most of these can be unlocked within sandbox mode itself. for instance ive unlocked every predator species including spinosaurus, indominus rex and indoraptor by researching them in sandbox mode. and also just about have all herbivores unlocked

I think what I hate most about jwe 2 is that once you beat campaign mode you think you know how everything works. Then you go into challenge mode and I feel like I have to teach myself so much more that was never covered in the main story.

"There's nothing you can do about it" - actually you just throw someone else's game into the save game files and ta da.

Just turn off "Research" in the sandbox settings, it'll disable all required researches meaning you'd get all/most of the dinosaurs and buildings.

I think I like this idea of doing alot more before being able to do sandbox, I prefer the challenges and tasks to do to have a successful park. And its like you are rewarded with sandbox mode for completing everything. I understand the frustration though

i dispise this new unlock system. the sheer amount of grinding just for sandbox is painfull

I did find out that I can spend money unlocking dinos and research, then quit to the main menu without saving. When I loaded my manual save I still had the Dinosaurs unlocked for sandbox, but I also had my money back to spend researching another unlockable. Of course, you still have to play enough of the game to get the correct star ratings for certain Dinos. But this is quicker if you don’t have a lot of money.

You could breed them??

I hope they add the ability to disable combat and injuries in sandbox. The fact that the no combat option is missing really confused me since it was in the first game

Honestly I like challenge mode hopefully they add more maps for all the game modes and expand on some of the elements from challenge mode

Thanks , I recently completed the campaigns and the chaos theory , and I was worried about unlocking everything because I didn’t get every dinosaur that was available after completing both modes.

So you can do either chaosmode or challenge mode? cuz I dont see myself in challenge mode tbh.

The majungasaurus, acrocanthosaurus and cryolophosaurus can all be unlocked via the german6 challenge mode, which you’ll need to do anyways in order to unlock northwest USA which is where you get the indominus rex and Indo raptor

It's fdev. The fact that they give you a tutorial on the basic gameplay mechanics in campaign is already crazy to me. Cause they don't do that for elite. It's an easy way to get people to spend so many extra hours on their game.

If you gotta unlock stuff for “sandbox” mode. Then it isnt really a sandbox.

On sandbox, once you’ve selected either custom, creative or standard, can it be changed to a different one of the 3 after you start or does it permanently stay on the one you’ve picked for your parks if you want to try on another one, also which one is the best to go for out the 3?

It's not an overall terrible way to go with how to unlock everything for sandbox. However, I feel the Campaign you should be able to revisit prior locations and keep/maintain those locations and care for those dinos, and maybe do research in those locations as well.

A little unfair to the players like myself that struggled with challenge mode. I’m in Canada right now on easy and it’s difficult, mostly because of the staff requirements 😑

There is a quicker way do you want to go to Sandbox select custom turn off, scientist, expeditions, and the newest part the dinosaur acquisition

Honestly l wish that sandbox was actually sandbox where you can get every dinosaur in sandbox and you dont need scientists

So frustrating that the devs are taking this "we know better than you" approach on how much we need to do to unlock sandbox. I want the sandbox access, period. They make players like me jump through hoops to get there because they think they know better what we REALLY want. WRONG.

If you want to get stuff easy complete the Canada Challenge then do Germany on Easy since you don’t have as many storms and more room it’s easier to unlock the stuff you can get from it once you got that to 4 stars you want to target what you didn’t have access to unlock in Germany an so on and so forth eventually you should have all the stuff you can get without the need of chaos theory also majunga is available in JP2 Chaos Theory

I hated that you need to unlock everything for sandbox mode for the first game. But I’m actually really liking it in this one because I’m loving the campaign and chaos theory.

Since i got the game its changed. You just turn research/digs off in sandbox and voila. AT least for me on consle.

Does that mean once you’ve reached over 50 percent genome on a Dino and then release it into your park, it’s then on a 100 percent on sandbox and also, do you unlock all the skins from 1993,1997 and 2001 once you’ve unlocked all the dinos, buildings and vaccines etc on chaos theory and on challenge mode, all with five stars?

For some reason, I had everything unlocked in sandbox, before i even played Challenge Mode or Chaos theory

I gave up on the game after about a week as someone who played the entire campaign of the last game. It’s just so tedious to 5 star every park to unlock everything. I did that in the last game and I have no desire to do it again. Hopefully a mod will come out or something to unlock everything.

For Majungasaurus you need to play The Lost World Jurassic Park Chaos Theroy

It is a longer process but I like this more than having to grind ALL that DNA to unlock them in sandbox

How do I get a second and third expedition-team like in JWE1? Honestly it's not the best update for the series that for every map you start again with nothing :(

You now can go in to sandbox, turn on research and expeditions etc, then research all the dinosaurs and u can just breed them with unlimited money and u can unlock everything in like 4 hours

I have not progressed at all in campaign but I still can use all the Dino’s in sandbox

Best bet is to go through each challenge mode on easy mode to max out research and dinos than do the hard mode for the 5 star and completion rewards, that way you can play hard mode only going for the most optimal route to completion without having to worry about actually unlocking anything for sandbox

I was keeping my expectations in check for this sequel yet I’m disappointed all the same…this feels more like JWE 1.5 than a true sequel. They took away so much stuff like placeable trees, the pteranodon from JP3 is nowhere to be found, the lagoons are so barren and empty, forced scientists on sandbox, no options for no dino fighting’s etc, the campaign is only 3-4 hours longs and it feels like it’s incomplete, the pack hunting is absurd and way too OP (small theropods hunting Sauropods, really?) the herbivores barely try to kick off said pack hunters…so much stuff that needs fixing in this game. I went from wanting it on launch day to now waiting a couple of months for it. One step forward two steps back with Frontier.

Do you have to research everything like fencing ect to unlock it for sandbox I learnt the hard way about the dinos

In my opinion the sandbox is the ultimate mode, but in my opinion it would not make sense to unlock everything from the beginning. This would cause players to ignore everything and overlook the MANAGEMENT part of the game (because in the end it is, and if you don't like management games but like the idea of ​​building a dinosaur park they can't do anything about it). Plus, every game requires commitment before enjoying your work. Once you have finished unlocking everything (yes, I know, it's a real hassle for you, but at least try it), you will have your sandbox, and you can finally enjoy the game in peace and quiet watching your dinosaurs as you always wanted.

For some reason as soon as I loaded into sandbox it gave me all the buildings and dinos and I did not have to do anything.

You Need To have a dinosaur loose 2 fights and research the strong DNA Then you can research the rest of the carnivores

I have question how to get all fences in the game i mean i saw some people with invisible fence and that white fence how to do that(for invisible fence i need biosyn ik but how to do it i chose biosyn buildings and i only got these invisible fences without the white one i need to buy everything in the game or what? )

When are they gonna realize that if they make a Sandbox, players should be free to do whatever the fuck they want there with no limitations, so I don't get why they have to unlock shit during sandbox gameplay besides just prolonging the game.

What you should do to get access to it: complete the Campaign and you get everything full stop

hey when I got the game I didn't have to do any challenge mode or anything it just came all unlocked

I understand frontiers tactic of making us log 20+ hours into the game before we can get everything we want to get in Sandbox, and if you think about it it’s sadly a genius marketing scheme. But I do think that they need to appreciate their player base a little bit more, a lot of people got the game solely so they could build the park or their dreams with every dinosaur that they want. And it’s just annoying that in order to do that you need to log over 30 hours into the game to get everything. And I get that there is people who really like the challenge mode and who really like chaos theory etc. Frontier thinks that if they don’t make us spend over 20 hours on the game before we get everything, then we won’t put as much time into it as if we already had everything. Which in some cases is true, but in most cases I’m sure people to spend lots of hours maintaining parks and having fun with every single dinosaur the game has to offer. Personally, I have around 30 hours on the game and I’m still trying to get every dinosaur, it’s really annoying.

Cant wait for a mod that just unlocks everything, the amount of work involved to just unlock everything to build a park and relax is rediculous.

Idk if it's been said but if you play all the challenge modes, you'll be able to get the dinosaur specific to those located in the campaign mode

If you don't unlock a dinosaur in campaign do you have to play it again? For example: i didn't unlock the dilophosaurus during my campaign, do i have to go back and get it?

I'm thinking about buying this game but I'm not sure... I really like sandbox modes in these types of games, where I can be completely free and build my park how I want to without worrying too much about power and money and stuff like that. But now I know I have to play everything to unlock stuff in sandbox mode and It's really stopping me from buying the game.. but at the same time it seems kinda fun to play some challenge modes... Are these challenge and chaos modes terrible to play or is it worth it to unlock stuff in sandbox? How long does it take to complete everything? Would be nice if someone with experience in this game gave me an answer, since I'm wanting to buy this game but at the same time it sounds kinda stressfull to do all this stuff to unlock everything

Where do you unlock Indominus Rex And Indoraptor? Do you have to play the Jurassic World Chaos Theory in order to unlock them?

For the Indoraptor and some dinosaurs they’re contained to some challenge mode maps For example to get Indoraptor you need to do a challenge mode (any difficulty) and get it to 4.5 stars and get a indominus rex in northwest U.S. along with that some dinosaurs are likely locked to challenge mode so try to 5 star easy mode all of them to get all dinosaurs it’s a lengthy process but just to be safe just 5 star in easy on each challenge map

Fun fact you can turn on the expeditions in sandbox so you can get fossils and be able to get dinosaurs in sandbox

My girlfriend has been playing sandbox for like 3 hours and she's gunna be pissed because she doesn't like doing the campaigns in games, just the sandbox mode it games like this.

Ive completed the campaign, only completed the first two Chaos Theory missions and haven't touched challenge mode. When I'm in one of my first two choas theory missions it shows I have a lot to still unlock but when I go into sandbox creative I have have access to all the dinos. Did the change it or what's going on that I have access to them all

There are two places that are useful to unlock the dinosaurs: Kanada and N.America. N.W.A. is the place for most of the carnivores, including indominus and indoraptor. Kanada is for the rest. If there are dinosaurs that appear elsewhere and not on these, comment below!

the only thing i want from a park management game is to jump straight to sandbox because I HATE having to manage how much money i use

So, when you release a dinosaur on Chaos Theory, Challenge mode or Campaign, you unlock the dinosaur in sandbox with 100% genome? Or do you still have to research the genome to 100?
