This Samsung Galaxy Unlock Bootloader tutorial will show you how it is done from start to finish in less than 10 minutes. We are required to have the Exynos variant for this tutorial to work. . .or your Snapdragon model has to have come from a select country (like China where this is allowed).

Samsung is an interesting company as they seem to be on both sides of the same fence. We have the part of the company that tries to force people to use Bixby as their virtual assistant. But you also have a side where they will freely let you unlock the bootloader in most countries.

If you have a Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, or Galaxy S10e with the Exynos chipset then you can easily unlock the bootloader in just a few steps. Doing so will allow you to install code on partitions that would otherwise be restricted.
For most of us, this just means that it opens up the ability to install popular Android mods including Magisk, TWRP, and Xposed. But what we're actually doing is installing code onto areas of the filesystem that typically isn't allowed.
To begin unlocking the Galaxy S10 bootloader, you'll need to enable Developer Mode. This is required so that we can flip a toggle labeled "OEM Unlocking." What we're doing is letting Android know that the person who owns this phone actually wants to unlock the bootloader.
It's a security measure Google has put in place.
With that done, you can go ahead and boot the smartphone into Download Mode using the USB cable method. This is how you'll access the actual bootloader unlock confirmation screen. So go ahead and long-press the Volume Up button to begin.
You'll be asked to confirm whether or not you want to proceed because this will wipe all the data from your phone. Including any photos, videos, apps, games, and contacts that you have not previously backed up.
Wait for the phone to reboot a couple of times (this is where it wipes all of the data) which is required because of another security measure Google has put into place.
Eventually, you'll see the Galaxy S10+ has rebooted back into the typical Android activation screen. So go ahead and log into your accounts like you normally would and restore your data or reinstall your favorite apps/games.
You can double-check to make sure you have actually unlocked the bootloader here by enabling Developer Mode again and looking for that OEM Unlocking toggle. If your bootloader is currently unlocked, then you should notice this toggle is grayed out to prevent you from disabling it.
