I remind you it's a LOCAL file, your client runs it , and the game was intended to run over 60 fps (beta testers), but since they are working on optimizations the capped it on launch *FOR THE TIME BEING* You aren't manipulating or "breaking" the game code in any sense.

It is capped. It is also very much worth noting that you can disable things such as the obnoxious screen shake completely by setting the value to 0 (off). Several things are worth disabling to improve visual clarity and performance.
yes, but does impact the game refresh rate to your monitor hz? idk from what i understand, LS doesn't affect game fps directly, just doing it display-wise? its all a little confusing...
