Hi and thank you for the video! One question, since I am just learning about UX design and doing prototypes. In this case, you did not try to link for example the BACK button. Is that a usual thing when you just want to test one or two flows? Thank you!

Hi there, great video! It was the most objective I have seen so far! But I have one question... Assuming I am running this test for a client's product that we are building, and neither the client nor us have any users database so far, does Maze offer some sort of user database that we can send our test? Or we must have our own user base? Thanks!

Hi! glad you liked the video and found it valuable. Maze does have a testers panel where you can recruit participants that fit the criteria of your demographic. If you don’t have your own testers this is a great option. -- Pamela

So you are testing a mobile experience in a desktop context? How will it look when the user performs the test in the device the flow is designed for? Thanks for the video.

Great question! That’s up to you. If you think they really need to open the prototype on a mobile device, you could either say that on the instructions page or add a yes/no question at the beginning asking them if they using a mobile device. And if they answer no, end the test. Then you can ask them to open the test again on a mobile device. If you are testing specific mobile gestures of interactions I would definitely go that route. One thing i didn't get is how do you run the test and get the results? More specifically, can you send this to your own panel of respondents via a link, or you are using their panel? If you are using their panel of respondents, based on what criteria can you target the testers if you can target them at all? Thank you for the video

Absolutely you can send this to your own panel. I didn’t go that far in the video, so the next step would be to share the URL with your participants. Depending on your goals that anywhere from 5 at minimum. Maze allows you to create a database and segment your group of participants as well through their participant management feature.
