I have purposefully not updated my Switch yet because I knew it would mess with Atmosphere, and I wasn't super confident in updating Atmosphere myself. I am glad you made this video, I feel more comfortable doing so now.
Will this guide work if your atmosphere CFW is working mostly fine? I'm on the previous firmware/atmosphere update, but now I can't add new games to my switch or read external SD card on my switch. Everything else is fine though.

When I start Atmosphere, the screen goes black and stays that way. Even if you use hekate, it will still work. How can I fix it? Atmosphère ver1.7.1 switch ver18.0.0 Can anyone help me?
i got this error '' A fatatl error occurred when running Atmosphere. Program ID: 0100000000000005. Error Desc: stf::abort() called (0xffe)'' I also deleted from the contents folder 😑
I followed this, but it ended up corrupting my save data idk why. I was able to fix it by getting a "hats pack" and basically doing what you did, dragging the files to the SD card and injecting the updated fusee.bin. Now everything is updated and works. Ggs
I fixed it but won't let me link Nintendo account it keeps saying error accored try again later on emummc does that mean i can only only play offline games only works on sysmmc
Just a doubt , so in order to do a system update : first you need to update the system in ofw from the official switch server then update the atmosphere using the above method right ? So how do you update the emunand ??

Sorry, I ran all the commands and started with atmosphere in the images folder, but if I turn off the console and restart it it goes back to original.. how can I start atmosphere again? Thank you..
Quick question I bought a modded switch from someone is it safe to connect to wifi without getting banned? Is there a way I can prevent getting banned and connect to wifi so I can use the home brew channel to download emulators

I have the same error after updating saying "a fatal error occurred when running atmosphere" but the program id is 0100000000000005 and there's no such folder in contents =( I deleted all the folders in contents anyway but no luck, still the same error. I would really appreciate the help. Thank you!
Where will I be able to find the latest update for Arcropolis? & in order to update Atmosphere all I have to do is drag & drop a certain file to replace the old one right?
The latest arcropolis is on the arcropolis GitHub. Yes replace the old folders and files with the new and use the latest fusee.bin. I recently released a video on updating atmosphere which you can use as a guide if you’re unsure of what to do…(this video you commented on)
@@Littlemisshelper this tutorial is on updating atmosphere cfw so it’s meant to be followed after already having atmosphere cfw setup. If you don’t have it setup then you wouldn’t have tegrarcmgui(the program shown).
I have an answer for your actually. First I want you to go in your setting and delete your SAVE FILE NOT YOUR GAME. If that doesn’t work go to atmospher content, then the tag for smash. Which is like 16000 or something (look it up) and delete it. Reinstall mods
When u start ur switch normally without using CFW and try to open a game that you don’t have the license to it will corrupt ur game files. If you delete the game and reinstall the game files and try to open it again while in cfw it should work and it won’t delete ur save file. If that doesn’t work try updating ur sig patches
It happened to me once, but I just tried loading up the game again and it loaded up normally. Might be good to try loading it again if you haven't already.
I done everything and for some reason my switch is just on a black screen even though it says the payload was successful, does this mean its not able to be modded?
That’s about arcropolis. This video is about atmosphere cfw. That error can be caused by a few things: You’re on an old version of smash ultimate and need to update OR You are using an old version of arcropolis and need to update
You probably have a patched switch. Hold power for 15 seconds to restart the switch. If you let it die while in rcm you’ll need to charge it for a while
Hello Manito. I have an issue with my switch. When I want to inject a payload it says "A fatal error occurred when running Fusee. Failed to open sdmc:atmosphere/package3!" Can you tell me what I must do please? Do you have any video?
@richardbecherel8445 yes. You need to setup atmosphere cfw before injecting fusee.bin if not it won’t load and you’ll get the error screen you currently have

thanks for the helpful video. I update my OFW firmware to 18.0.1 and started getting a yellow screen when trying to boot into stock OFW from. This fixed it! Thanks!
