You mentioned about changing the URL, I did that a few years ago before I knew better. I still have to fix them with some redirects. Do you have a video on how to fix that? Otherwise solid content. I have watched this a few times already.
Well thanks again. Appreciate the feedback. What kind of website do you have? The specific way you implement a 301 (permanent) redirect will change based on whether you use WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, etc, etc. These are a couple of videos I've made about changing URLs and / or fixing them with 301 redirects ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dgZ4RpIra34.html - 5 things to check before you redirect ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-QnxtE3x1xHA.html - redirect loops, redirect chains, and 301 redirects ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-EdFgJKxdx_4.html - why you should generally avoid changing URLs (but you know this one already)
You bet. If you use WordPress, you can use a plugin (premium version of Yoast does it, as do some other free plugins). You can also do it through WPEngine if you use that for hosting (that's what I did).
Hey, cool. Thanks for watching and for the input. Anything specific you're interested in on the technical SEO side? Sitemaps? Site architecture? General indexation and crawlability? Site speed things? General overview? Something else? I'm far from a pro in most of it, but always game to learn more.
