Can anyone confirm that this update will include the newest version of Zlink? I am considering updating my head unit but if I install the software update and Zlink isn’t there that is an obvious issue. I just want clarification before I install.

I got an update from the seller, its now on android 12 but zlink is still stuck on version 3.9 and some of its functions arnt working such as wireless android auto, wired only works with usb debugging on now. Also Qlink which came with the unit as well has now disappeared from the home screen

Please check the build number in your device's Settings > About. If the build number's date is prior to March 7, 2022, proceed with the update. However, if the build date is after March 7, 2022, please skip the update.

There is nothing like official. If you get the update file from seller, then it suits 100% for your system. But the update file you get from the internet may or may not be compatible for your system.
Update the unit with compatible software. You will get it back. If yours is K2501 UP or NWD, the update file you find in the description of this video do work. After updating, connect to internet and open the zlink. It will activate by itself.
