How to update your Hyundai Navigation 

Love the update. I was having issues using the assistant and making phone calls and texts. Kept telling me "no network response" so I pressed my Bluelink button on the mirror and got in touch with customer service. They suggested I do a map update. I purchased my update from Hyundai $25 plus shipping) so I skipped the download part and went straight to the in car installation.Finally, the navigation now works well, voice commands work, radio looks better, maps look better and I now have dark mode for daytime driving looks slick, can adust temperature and fan speed using voice commands, various apperance choices, new assistant interface and many other changes throughout the setup sub menus. Took about 2 hours however a note came up early on saying that I could turn the car off and the update would continue. Went and had lunch came back to the car and it was done. Well worth the time and expense. For the first time I'm enjoying using my maps and voice commands. Really love the dark mode for navigation now the cluster and infotainment have similar apperance.

I had the same problem 6 months ago. I took it to the dealership and had to wait 2 weeks until Hyundai came up with the new update.

Does your android auto work with an android phone when connected to USB wired? Because my Kona N doesn't work when it's connected to an android phone for Android Auto but car play works.

I just recently watched one of your videos about your Kona N breaking down for the 3rd time and I literally just bought one and now I'm kinda worried....... Hows your Kona nowadays??

I was getting the same thing as you with the ding and display but also the nav map wont work and the system dont understand my command. Did the down load it said to recheck the file did it 3 times then the USB port broke. The dealer said they have some cars having the same problem well Ill get a new USB thats covered but crazy your system picked up the patch so fast.Changed name profile ding went away but still no map or voice command.

After downloading the update you take the usb straight to the car? I’ve tried multiple times ands it still tells me the update is not compatible with a 2022 KN
