What if you have a 2/5 and use a 4/5, will it bump it to 4/5?

U can buy blood soaked gem at the jeweler…? If that’s the case then it doesn’t show up in my game not to mention a bunch of other legendaries that I can’t get from the shop.. why is that..?

I know I may be dumb but why you upgraded 2 star gem in to 3 star gem if you had the 3 star already? wasn't just good thing to replace them and then use the 2 star later on as food to go for 4 star?

That was 4 months ago..many things happened during those 4 months, but, anyways.. :) Basically, you put a superior x/5, DURING AN UPGRADE, you go to that superior y/5 level after the upgrade. Very nice indeed. Clean idea in theory, simple. ) NOW the catch; better to do that VERY quickly at the lowest levels..WAY BEFORE lv4+!.. ..because at 4-->5, you will need 7 dupes+500fragments too..and from there each new upgrade will be an insane rollercoaster of new required dupes/fragments..!! The Blizzard/NetEase crooks little surprise.. after hundreds and hundreds of hours of standard play for standard users, to just only get there (lv3 or 4).. of course, they thought about the solution, from the start, for their most passionate devotees!..for just a very (costly) little price extra (IMPOSSIBLE to get there by natural ways, past 5 lol).. ; )

Let me see if I understand this right. If I want to turn a 2/5* into a 3/5*, I have to feed it a 3/5*, effectively transferring the * to the 2/5?

An 11 min video to basically tell you that you just use the higher star gem as a duplicate when you upgrading the lower star gem and then the lower star gem will be upgraded to the higher star gem when you upgrade.

Lets say the seeping bile that you had and you had a 5 star too. Will that 2 star turn into 5 star?
