Hello, I have the same notebook for a friend, one we upgraded the RAM and the HD to SSD, the PC boots but the screen is black only black, we replaced everything with th eoriginal parts but the problem still persist, what kind of problem can happen in such a case, I watched 2 videos on youtube and in the end it does not also boot and many people asked such a question but unfortunately without any response. THanks,
this may be a tad late but have you tried unplugging the CMOS and main battery? usually if you unplug those two and plug them back in the system is forced to return to BIOS defaults but this all depends on the manufacturer. but if that does not work and the lenovo logo has in fact displayed but windows is not loading, wait for a while because sometimes windows has to re-adjust to new hardware or just reinstall windows completely using recovery media that can be made on another windows machine. but if you did resolve the issue prior to me replying then hopefully you have a nice working laptop again!
Open up Task Manager, then click more details and go to the performance tab. There you'll see in the top right corner DDR3 (most likely) and below you'll see the speed (1600 most likely) and the rest of the details, how many slots, the form factor. Basically, with those details you can see whether you can upgrade, etcetera, etcetera. If you have more questions, ask.
@@19Ruben85 I have the same pc, but once the ram is installed, it doesn't detect it. What can it be? Originally I have 4GB, I added 4 more but it doesn't detect them. can you help me?
@@emanuelepellizzon5359 Hello Emanuela, did you first check if your laptop can get a memory upgrade? For example at crucial.com you can perform a system scan and it should say what is possible. Secondly, which speed did you put in? 1600mhz? Or higher? If you put in memory of with a higher amount then it could be that your motherboard can't understand it. Once again that will be shown in the system scan at crucial. Another thing you must keep in mind is to have 2 of the same installed, same amoubt of GB and speed, don't think brand difference should matter much.
