Great Video. I was gonna ask if you used the factóry or aftermarket amp but ssw another post and you said factory. So that answered my question. Nice speskers!
Yeah still using the Factory amp. Plus This car toes not have the Premium System. so No Amp. This Year we will be Adding an Amp and Rear Sparker as well. Waiting for the Weather to get Better.
Love all your videos, im going to put in the folding mirror kit at some point. But I've already upgraded my front speakers with inline crossovers but not looking to upgrade to external crossovers and a new head unit with a better dsp. What are the colors of the feed wires for the crossovers?
Are you talking about for the front or the rear. I used the OEM wires and connected them to the cross over and from there I put the tweete separately from the woofers. Is that what you mean.
I just bought a new pair of component speakers but they have an inline crossover instead of the external, can you explain how you spliced/wired the woofer and tweeter? Thank you, great video!
Basically. I used the factory speakers and connected it to the crossovers and from there I can get woofer and tweezers outputs. So I didn’t really cut any wires.
Yes and No. each speaker’s crossover are specifically used for a specific speakers the speaker may work but not may not sounds good or it might die. Sit it all depends. So it’s Not that Simple.
Hi. Did you cut the factory eom connector for the oem speakers? I had mine 4 speakers and tweeters replaced last week with an amp and today I saw that the two front speakers don’t have the original connector just the rear speakers have it 😢 is there any way to fix it?
Nope. I bought adapter for the front and rear so none of the factory speakers wires were cut. I used the speaker adapter so that I do t have to cut any wires.
@OMAR-5656 I hate having to cut OEM speakers wires. But sometimes some shops will cut corners and do a super crappy job just so they can get the money. Get you in and out as soon as possible. I don’t like to do that. I prefer to do the job right, with the right parts. It will cost more but I know the job will be done right.
@@DanielR-kb3hd technically yes. I remote the O speakers and used an adapted from crutchfield that came in the box when you buy a set of speakers from them. Then I connected it to the crossover box then I then get the sound for the woofer and the tweeters from there and going out to the speakers 🔊. Hopefully you under what I am trying to say.
I agrée with you 100000% I think in the USA we don’t demand enough features. So they give us the bare minimum. And we don’t complain about it. This sucks
I always order from crutchfield. They are the only company o know will send you free bracket. All other company will make you pay for them. You could try Sonic electronics. I have not order from them in a long time so mwen pas konnen parlé avec yo. They can recommend some good 🔊. Bonne chance.
@@kjp58103 you can those are good speakers as well. But we install an amp on that car and they sound even more Amazing. You will definitely see a difference though.
If you have the OEM amp it probably can give you your what you are looking for. It will play fairly okay. But to really get what you pay for, you’re gonna have to go Aftermarket.
@CarStomIt I'm going full Amps upgrade with DSP. Down4sound jp8 amp for subwoofer box, down4sound jp95 amp 5 channel amp for interior speakers, down4sound sfx 6.5 speakers for doors and deck, 8" down4sound sfx for rear deck woofer, and audio control dm-810 DSP. 1 12" sundown e12 in a down4sound pro fab box. I wanna upgrade headunit to a belsee 12.3" or navirider 13" head unit, but I am waiting on more reviews on them first. Oh and kilmat sound deadening
@david029014 very nice. I am going to also do a 5 channel amp as well. Not sure which one yet. Definitely one with a DSP maybe the Kenwood. Depending on budget. We are going to look for a fab corner sub box too but we have to wait for better weather.
I ordered the Speakers from Crutchfield.com..So when you order speakers from them they will give you Free Installation kit. In this case they were Speaker brackets
@@buffedupernie8727 is your car 2024 model. So the body styles is different but the backers might ne the same. You might have to open the door panel so you can see what the backer looks like. Crutchfield pro hasn’t had a chance to make a write up about that car yet.
I know, but the speakers come with a cross over, so I am not using the Connections for the Tweeter. the way that I am connecting them is going from the car wirings to the crossover, then to the speaker then to the tweeter.
@@jimbrohammer3270 We are going to also add a sub as well we are now shopping for some black friday deal. also I have a video to help with the rattle that I did on another Accord. l Check this link out. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9dwTrugEitk.htmlsi=71dXkKlUIFXYuYDa
so connecting the speakers to the cross over will only take power without any benefit, if we didn't install the crossover it will be the same or better results isn't ?
@@hassanamen332the speaker he bought came with a crossover box kit to sperate the highs for the tweeter and the crossover box sends mid range frequençy to his mid range speaker. With stock tweeters, it comes with its own crossover but not as high end like on that crossover box. And for the stock speakers, it is more like a full range speaker which sounds harsh when you turn up the volume compared to his new ones.
