This is a MUST for all XDJ-RX3 users. I have not mentioned the latest additions/fixes as this video is simply a how to.
Firmware update as of 08/02/2022
Ver.1.10 Update
[IMPROVED]
Touch Scroll on the Browse screen.
Reading of HFS+ formatted USB flash drives.
Volume of Touch Preview has been adjusted.
[FIXED]
Sound stopped when [SOFTWARE CONTROL] was turned on.
Beat FX channel selection reflected incorrectly.
Other minor bugs have been fixed.

I follow all directions but doesn't load up anything on the screen at all.

Solution: turn on the power button and after that immediately pressing both the [USB1 STOP] and [RELOOP/EXIT] buttons! (Unfortunately, the video doesn't show him turning on the power button, and that's the confusing thing about the whole video).

after this update i have 1.12 and i se they got new update at 1.13 my cue dosen work for deck 1 only for deck 2 i use Serato dj Pro do u know what i can do for make it normal again ?

If its not working be sure the file ends in .UPD Not “UPD 2” due to a old update you still have on your computer

I use play around on a DDJ-400, but rn I'm using a XDJ-RX3 - into my laptop. i tried your method here and it didn't work/present the steps to install the firmware update. Although i'm aware of the update required, when i download the link it doesn't seem to work either... i wanna thrown down a Livestream using the RX3 but doesn't look like it's gonna happen.. thoughts?

Need more info. Did you export your tracks via rekordbox? Or are you using it with a laptop? Try uninstalling-reinstall driver. Otherwise send a ticket to rekordbox.com and provide as much detail as you can

That's what it says in the guide. You press and hold both then turn it on. If you're still having trouble. Please create a support ticket thru pioneerdj.com

It doesn t work with my xr3, when I start and it says connect device to usb1 I connect my pendrive with the firmware as explained and nothing happens, my pendrive is also fat32. Help please !

Yes. Firmware updates usually contain big fixes, new features, etc.

Not sure what else to say. If it doesn't work, please take it to your local Pioneer DJ store or service centre. Also go to pioneerdj.com to find your local one

Did you unzip the file? Reformat your usb? Try another usb? Otherwise contact pioneer DJ support for further assistance.

have others noticed small "mastertempo" skips on normal non-mastertempo mode? The drivers on this , is incredibly shit compared to rx1.

Are you using it standalone or with DJ software? Submit a ticket thru rekordbox.com and attach video footage that would be helpful

i happens both in XLR cable mode and also on rekordbox. I find that its become slightly better, but it should be 100percent gone. Ive played on shitty dj controllers that dont do any skips. If Mastertempo is OFF, no glitches should happen at pioneers pricepoint. @@therealblackmoose

IT WILL NOT UPDATE UNLESS THE FILE ENDS IN UPD! IF THERE IS A FILE IN YOUR COMPUTER THAT HAS UPD 2, 3, 4, 5 IT WILL NOT UPDATE!!!! CHECK YOUR DOWNLOAD FILES USING UPD IN THE SEARCH BAR - XX
