2:07 I'd reverse the 1×2 tiles for that banner for a more even checkerboard look. So from left to right, top to bottom have it black ,blue, blue, black. So there's a blue tile over the black print and a black tile over the blue half of that 1×3 "shield" tile.
@@Goldfyre Another thing you can try which will slim down the thickness of your tapestry and make it look more realistic, would be replacing the plate that's holding all the pieces together with two 2×2 round plates with rounded bottoms (part number 2654 "Boat Stud") in either black or blue. Could also use the modified 1×2 plate with two clips (part no. 60470 "Horizontal grip") in black or blue or two 1×1 modified plates with clip (part no. 61252 "Horizontal Grip") in black and blue to match, at the top of your tapestry and clip it to a horizontal bar to resemble a properly hung tapestry. For even more added realism, you can get your tapestry to "wave" in the wind with three simple pieces, the 1×4H antenna (part no. 3957), Technic ½ pin with stud (part no. 4274 without friction ridges), and 1×1 brick with Technic hole (part no. 6541). Attach the antenna to the stud on the ½ pin, put that pin the brick with hole, clip your tapestry to the now horizontally positioned antenna, and you've got a dangling tapestry that will sway when air is blown on it or when the MOC is jostled.
@@Eidolon1andOnly if you really want to slim down the banner, just add SNOT bricks to whatever wall you're putting it on. 1 tile thick is as thin as it'll get lol
These look awesome! I'll definitely be trying to get some of these for my army! Lovering the videos your putting out, this has quickly become my favorite lego RU-vid channel, keep up the great work!!
I discovered him more or less by accident while scrolling through instagram. I ordered the helmets and some other stuff and it's just spectacular. And I totally agree with what you said - the fact that you wouldn't even notice that it's not lego (like some of those excessive 360 degrees leg prints) is what really sets this apart from some of the other 3rd party sellers.
@ourtoyworld & @brickingupbrad have some really great pirates videos! I'm super tempted to get into pirates but it's probably best for my wallet if I don't 😂
Just to be clear UV isn’t necessarily lower quality as it highly depends on who makes it. You also can’t print in as many colors with pad printing which is why some companies use UV and pad printing.
Usually i don’t like sponsored vids, but this is something different! The parts are quality and made with love for lego. Too bad you couldn’t give us a discount coupon, would have been a nice christmas present for the community
Cultbricks is so awesome! Ive ordered a few of the rounded black falcon shields. They are so so so beautifull! My qaurd has them. I wish he restocks the new blue ones with spikes. I also have the tiles. He delivers very fast and the price is fair for the work. I have to order some parts for my village. Cultbricks is the best! There is also something you would like to see. Its a lego window with a medieval paint on. Not from cultbricks but i think you would love it!
Brick Warriors has stained glass window inserts. Currently has Black Falcons, Lion Knights, and the Dragon Knights from "Kingdoms". Victor says he will be adding the "Kingdoms" Lion knights to the assortment, as well.
Quick Question! Whenever you get a set, do you keep all the minifig parts in a sorted area and custom build your minifigs? Also, are there any cheap, medieval sets that you recommend?
I wonder if he could sell sticker to print conversion kits for sets. Ill bet if he sold a package including a print version of every sticker in the upcoming medieval market village, alot of people would buy it
I also think it looks better when its more in Lego style it just doesn’t fit when its more realistic. Early brickmania was more Legoized then the new stuff same with some brickarms.
Purist customs are my jam as well but i can't deny how much i love these. Searching on Bricklink for the perfect part is a big part of the joy i get from making customs.
The customs look great, but they are all out of stock. Apart from being a bit overpriced, having them for actual sale might help promote the product more than anything else >.
Thanks for showing them. The silver trim helm is just great. While buying from cult bricks would be unviable, I'll grab some helms and tiles and try painting/ decaling them.
I just bought 4 items about 90 minutes ago. The viking shields sold out so quickly so I'm glad that I had the release date in my calendar. I found Cult Bricks through this video, and I am glad I did, with how hard it is to find variation in viking shields.
Your army building series inspired me to create my own army. A Kingdom of the Dwarves and i really enjoy how it look so far. Love your work and thx for great wideos.
Checked it out something is off unless I didn't get the order right it showed I met the price having to get more than 4 items showes I've meet the order then at the same time it says the price and order doesn't match I hope to get these soon there what I need for my figures so badly
@Goldfyre I just looked again on what was wrong and it showed I had to have an order 25.00 or over for me to have my order or the shipping won't work my God the total amount is over 60 bucks for 5 or 6 items I guess there kinda worth it though?
Yeah i imagine those would end up being way more expensive due to the fact that they aren't on PAB. Hopefully LEGO brings them back into production soon
I know that custom prints are really popular in the US, and sure, lots of it looks nice. I can't help but ending up thinking it's cheating though. Going beyond the original product kind of takes away the limitations that feed my creativity. I understand that other's like customs, but not my forte.
All of the stuff he sells is his own design. I'm not very familiar with aliexpress but i am assuming that people on there are knocking off him and other original creators/artists.
