Great video Adam! Our in-ground composer has been doing a great job so far into the season. Don't forget to water it during the hot summers, or freeze some ice if the weather gets over 100F. I'd love to see more garden videos if possible. Nice job as usual!

Dave, thank you for the comment! And for noticing this one is outside our normal scope of irrigation :) I do water my compost (in fact, I just did over the weekend because it got so hot here in Oregon!), but I haven't heard of the ice trick -- do you freeze some and then place it on top of the compost so the cool water runs down inside? I love adding to the box of tips and tricks!

Hey Adam, getting ready to install our newly purchased drip irrigation system. One of your videos said to install the 1/4 inch drip hose with the emitters facing up. I wasn't planning to raise them off the bed. Is this correct?

You got it! Particularly if you're not elevating, get them facing up as much as possible (some will twist sideways, and that's generally ok) -- the big thing is just to make sure none are in a position to suction in dirt after system shut down, so if they're sideways or almost upside down, that can be ok so long as they're not getting dirt into holes :)
