How to upload videos to your twitch collection 2019

twitch is mostly for streaming too, they probably dont want 2 minute clips flooding their website

Which you can't get if you can't download, But thank you for helping ;-)

Ah okay, I thought I could start uploading video's right away instead of doing a stream. (Cause I am not much of a streamer). It's sad to see that I have to do certain things before I can upload my video's. I was kinda looking for an alternative to RU-vid but right now, there are not many options. Until a different video platform comes out, I'll probably be staying with RU-vid. Anyway, thanks for clarifying!

Thank you for the clarification...I don't remember Twitch announcing this at all. I was just wondering why I can't upload as I did before. Unreal....goodbye Twitch. I am not a big streamer but I post my videos to RU-vid and Twitch so my friends and I can review our past gameplays. Sucks that Twitch would do that...oh well, time to switch to something less vulture like. I am learning video editing with my PUBG Replay and Nvidia quickcapture to make mini Cinematics with my gameplay. Same just trying to edit out the dead time in my streams so it's more watchable for my 3 viewers. They're people I know personally and I'm trying to make a good experience for them even if they miss a stream. Streaming The Witcher 3 which is a long game so I'm editing things like the loading screens and horse riding(sometimes). But they don't allow you to do this anymore why? Should I just switch over to RU-vid for streaming games? (Edit:) The uploads section are still there but you can't do anything with it. What's the point of having it there if you can't upload?

How do I reach affiliate status?

I know it kind of sucks but all you need is 50 followers and an average viewers of 3 I got affiliate within 3 weeks, you don't have to be a massive streamer

@@arakinS It was stated on a comment though that you need to be affiliate, like have many followers and viewers for you to be able to upload many vids. So maybe you don't need the twitch prime account

Yeah exactly. And when I drag and drop a video on that screen, it just plays on a window, without offering any option at all.

In order to upload videos to Twitch, your account needs to have reached Partner or Affiliate status.

[SOLUTION] To the problem of having no ''Upload Video - Drag & Drop'' square appear in your video manager. After much research i found an article stating that as of April 2019, Twitch made having ''Affiliate'' status a requirement in order to directly upload video files from your PC --> to Twitch.

how did you go live? and did you pick the correct link to show it on twitch? in some cases it might not be there right away but on twitch there's a way to check if its loading

​@@justsomestories1 I have all of this, I just became an affiliate today and the option is no longer here. I started streaming seriously in 2018 as they made video uploads affiliate only and what I'm gathering from these comments is that they have done away with it entirely.
