How to use 6 pins 8x8 mm self locking DPDT push-pull switch

excelent video, i have an issue with a DPDTswitch in my guitar amplier this video helps me a lot.

Mine looks indentical, but the pinout is different. The middle pins on both sides connect with pins 1 and 6 in the pull position, and then they connect with 3 and 4 in the push position. Which has confused me a lot!😅

If I connect wires in pin 2 and 3 to turn on a led by pushing the switch and cut rest of the pins will it work??
