You shouldn't write code like that. You can just create a 2D array where you can map numbers to segment configurations.

See pin diagram of seven segment on internet, you will get idea of that If you still want help: From left to right: UPWARD: G, F, +(COMMON), A, B DOWNWARD: E, D, +(COMMON, HERE YOU CONNECT ONE PIN OF RESISTOR), C, DP(0)
