Clam shell bead tips are a great way to finish a bracelet or necklace.
Place the thread through the hole in the top and use a pair of pliers to press a small crimp over the thread. This will catch on the inside of the bead tip and not allow it to escape through the hole.
To ensure a neat finish make sure you use the right sized crimp and then trim the excess thread if necessary. To make it more secure you can add a drop of G-S Hypo Cement on the thread next to the crimp. ⠀
Bead tips are a great alternative to crimp covers and they already have a hole for jump rings or clasps for easy finishing!
