I fully understand your emotions, maybe a part of honestly. Years ago, i was tuning G&G SCAR, we wanted to preserve G&G piston but were doing cylinder-stuff SYSTEMA BU upgrade. So during a piston head removal (unaware of thread glue) pistonhead screw got stripped. So we took OL'manual'crank'powered'drill, and chosen right diameter of drill. Using my cousins hand as a vise, i begun drilling. So it appears with x amount of pressure and y amount of rpms, drill of desired size can break. And that was moment I have learned that preciuos fact. So, about part of emotions, i got all the: "all yes", "that just happened", "arghh thats good", "woooooow", "fucking beautiful" and my cousin got all the rest... Drill went thru his index finger. Not jesus-like wound like yours but still, close.
Damn that's a mean MFer right there. Spent over 25 yrs, and over 25 of those types of injuries with drills, to learn a very important lesson. Always take the time to start something like that with the drill in reverse, and very slowly work the speed up. Once there's a large enough divot to hold the bit without slip. Switch to normal methods again. Make sure the bit is fairly new/sharp as well. You do amazing things with piles of junk, and a ton more. Thanks for the great vids.

Just wrap it in PTFE tape right? That's what all the other airsoft techs do. Hope that heals up nicely, and if it leaves a hole you can say that's why you need to chrono everyone properly 😂
Item to be drilled shall be held with opposite hand and the drill shall be full triggered and pressed with 150% of full strength straight through project, hand and into thigh. At least it was your left hand and not your " alone time special friend " hand😏

Holy fucking shit. I hope your recovery goes well. A bit late now but, maybe time to invest in a bench vice, or a drill press vice (useful even if you don't have a drill press).

I thought we where due another head injury rather than a run of the mill limb. Or is that only on patron? Please dude invest in a vice and a pillar drill as you are our favourite twunt and we want to keep it that way. On a serious note I hope your tetanus is up to date and it heals well.
