How to use a fan for dancing and not break it - protect it first and it will last much longer! 

This video relates to fans for dancing or any other fans - wooden fans, plastic fans, Spanish fans, flamenco fans, chinese fans... and teaches you how to protect them with two easy tips so that they last years longer.
First tip only applies to fans with a certain type of nail, which are the majority of fans, especially fans for dancing. I show you how to tape the nail up so that it doesn´t fall down, as it is the weakest point of the fan. Secondly, I show you superb cases for fans that we hand-make in my flamenco online store in the Czech Republic.
Follow these tips for protecting fans before you first use them, because the nail clip falls really easily and it is very hard to fix the fan afterwards. Using my two tips, you will not have to fix a broken fan.
