Do you think the Amazon maul is a waste of time/money? I'm afraid it will be way too light (maybe I can add weight to it somehow). All the vids I've seen recommend somewhere between a pound and a pound and a half. I'm just getting started and want to keep things on the cheap because I'll probably only do the occasional project here and there. Thanks, and your wallets are looking great.

I appreciate the love and so amazon mallets are ok. I started with a amazon mallet but it just takes alot of wacks to get the chisel through so it is based on preference. honestly I would just go heavy cause it's faster and less noise
