I just came across your video while trying to learn how to use my niddy noddy. Thank you for going slow while using it. I tried another video but she went so fast I couldn't keep up. You are a great teacher.

I was wondering how a Niddy Noddy works and watch a different vlog and they didn’t show how to get it off. Then I saw yours and found it to be very through, thank you. 😀 I order my Ashford Electric Spinner 3 yesterday, yay! Not sure how long it will take to get it from New Zealand. Bought some fiber as well. I’m super excited. Now to learn more about different fibers.

Thanks for walking us all the way through to the end. Do you have any advice for blending together the yarn from multiple small bobbins (like from an E-spinner) when moving to the niddy noddy?

If it's wool you can needle felt the ends together as you go. Another option is grafting the ends together ( I don't have a show on that yet). Also you can do a magic knot with the ends. Thanks for watching. ~Shiree

When I finish plying I do leave a little bit of the leader on it so it's easier to find when I put the skein on the swift to then make a ball on the ball winder. Good luck and enjoy your fiber art. ~Shiree

@@rehashfiber : Each line ends as you wrap each limb. *get it started* Niddy Noddy Niddy Noddy Two Heads One Body *now we count* Here's one `T'ain't one `Twill be one Bye 'n' bye Here's two ... etc. I don't have any rhymes for winding a cake on a Nøstepinde, but I can't seem to find mine, and I use a ball-winder for making cakes these days. No skein winder, just a swift, and because it's a Beka, I use a Niddy Noddy to hank up a poorly made store "ball" of yarn, and rewind and possibly reset it, even.
