This particular stretcher only stretches width. We carry a 2 way stretcher that stretches width and length and is the same high quality as the one I demonstrated above.
All your comments are people with questions. Just so you know. My question was, did you mean half turns? You said "Another 4 turns..." and showed another 4 half turns.
thanks so much for posting this, I bought a pair of shoe stretcher had no idea how to use them so thanks so much. I think y'all just got a new customer in me
im so glad i went on you tube. i just made my purchase. i almost bought that rip off kind at amazon but the reviews say they are made out of plastic and break easy. i'll comment back when they get in but after reading these comments and seeing the video i feel confident i made the right purchase.
The white low-top sneakers I have are 100% leather, a size 10, and just a bit narrow. What size stretcher should I buy to widen my shoes... Men's 8-10, Men's 10 1/2 - 12, or Men's 12 1/2 - 14 ? Awesome video, Joe... very informative!!!
George, I would get the 10 1/2 - 12 stretcher because sneakers are normally wider than dress shoes and possibly buy an extra bunion attachment. Thanks, Joe
@@joecobbler Thanks, Joe... Quick question... Since I'm widening my sneakers (not dress shoes), why the extra BA, and what's the best place to attach them? Also, since they are sneakers I'm trying to widen, I'm still looking at a Men's 10 1/2 - 12 stretcher, correct? Thanks again.
@eileenyw92 Yes, you can stretch fake leather or suede. There is no need to use the stretching fluids on these types of materials. Just use the stretcher without the streching fluids.
@sycoa you should buy the 12.5 - 14 stretcher. Its easier to apply the shoe stretch on the out side of the shoe, and it gets better penetration. In our experience applying it on the inside just makes a mess. -Joe
Hi pouchy17, yes our high heel stretcher will work just fine with heels that have a heel length above 4.5". Hope this helps! And let us know if you have any further questions. Thanks, Joe
@ShoeCareSupplies es, The stretchers will work on fabric shoes as well. There is no need to use the stretching fluids on these types of materials. Just use the stretcher without the stretching fluids.
Good morning Joe, I've got a pair of Vans skate shoes I purchased the other day and they fit alright but could use a bit of room where my big toe first knuckle is, it bulges a bit more than normal, can this style shoe be stretched like leather ones? Thanks!
Hi Joe, I have a big bunion on my right big toe and so I need to stretch my shoe in this area to ensure there's no pressure on the bunion. Can I use the mens wooden shoe stretcher, or would this be the wrong tool to use as it will widen the shoe as well, which I don't actually need, i just need the bunion area widened. The reason I ask is because the Bunion & Toe Box Stretcher is not available in the UK, only the wooden foot stretcher. Thanks, Ben
Thank you so Much Joe for this video! I bought a pair of shoe trees and had to return them cause I didn't have a clue as to how to get them to expand. I also didn't know there were different kinds of shoe stretchers (I may have bought the flat kind for my pointy heels). I will go to your site and order what I need. But question: I don't think the shoes I have are 100% leather and I read that shoe stretchers do not work well on man-made materials. Is this true? Thanx again Joe!
When you stretch heels that pointy in the front, is the shoe stretcher suppose to fit into the shoe? Or can you just put part of the shoe stretcher into the shoe to stretch?
i just bought a pair of converse chuck taylor all stars size 9, my regular shoe size is 10.5, but they don't sell these shoes in half sizes and they recommend buying one shoe size smaller, these shoes are made out of canvas, would your shoe stretcher stretch these shoes a half size bigger so they would fit properly because a size 10 is too big?, your help is greatly appreciated.
Hi Joe, I am a size 14 and I want to buy a pair of your shoe stretchers for my sneakers. I love puma's but they run small. My problem is that I do not know what size to get. Is the 12-14 best or should I go the 14 and up route because I am already a size 14. Please let me know so I can stop wearing my feet out breaking in my new shoes!
Hello Joe, I just bought some Christian Louboutin Daffodil shoes, and they fit me tight from the toes, the big toe and middle toe is fine, but the middle, ring, and pinky feel very crunched up, is there any high heel stretcher to fit this particular shoe that I can use to stretch them out ( width ) ??Thanks
I've managed to destroy two pairs of wooden stretchers where I have screwed them open to the end and the plastic nut inside has broken so the shoe will no longer expand. Need to find another way to stretch my shoes...
Not everyone can have youtube channel…. It has been 7 years and still no answer. Apparently he only advertise his brand without following up with questions
What if it's a composite safety toe? (on size 14 leather Magnum boots). The front inside corners of my big toes touch a little bit after wearing for several hours. How difficult is this to do? I'm guessing a combination of length and toebox width stretching.........can this be done??
@ShoeCareSupplies Hi Joe, I have a pair of size 9 basketball shoes I would like to stretch to a 9.5..Should I use liquid, spray or a shoe stretcher like in your video?
I need to stretch the Arch of my shoes, not the toe or furthermost portion of them so much. It appears that most shoe stretchers do not address the Arch. This may not be as much of a concern with lace-up shoes as it is with slip-on styles that cannot be loosened with the laces. Suggestions?
i have suede vans shoes, to be honest i make want to strectch it half a size and width ways too, they are 10.5's and i think vans were made for slim feet, i must have wide feet also why did you not spray it on the inside?
@lilqtxanq3lou should try to push the stretcher up as far as possible. Do not use the bunion piece if it stops the stretcher from going in all the way. If it does not go up to the toe, try the next size down.
Yes, they will work for basketball sneakers. I would go up 2 sizes for sneakers. For example:if you wear a size 10, order a size 12 stretcher. Thanks,Joe
@ssskkksksksk Yes, The stretchers will work on synhtetic shoes as well. There is no need to use the stretching fluids on these types of materials. Just use the stretcher without the stretching fluids.
All I can tell you as that I have very petite feet, a woman's 4-5, I used it on 2 pairs of wedges, and a pair of Keen snow boots and it worked well on all.
