Since 1/2 inch ratchet can also open smaller nuts, would it be better compared to 1/4 inch ratchet, assuming 1/2 can provide more torque?

At 8.52 with what name is it sold? I need one to do bolts on fitting stands for solar panels where there is a tight spot, i.e. the bolts are nestled between a iron tube such that there is snall opening from the top and there is no way to drive the manual wrench key due to the nature of the stand. However there may not be enough space for the ratchet index head to get to the tight spot

sometimes you just need a wratchet wrench, on a versa was doing back struts al bent over and had hold it to keep it from spinning so a socket wouldnt do it plus only had about 4 inches before having to reset , also needed vise grip, since my other hand was holding my body up qll bent over 😂

Tooth count fragility is subject to design too. May be more fragile if the same amount of teeth are engaged as the lower tooth count but the more teeth engaged with the pawl in theory can be stronger then low tooth count.

Yes, you are right about it being dependent on the design. A big pawl with lots of fine teeth engaging can be as strong as any.
