You could use the existing [Total Profit] measure instead of CALCULATE in the ADDCOLUMNS for context transition like this... Products 1 = ADDCOLUMNS ( VALUES ( financials[Product] ), "Total Profit", [Total Profit] )

Also, you should use Ctrl+Mouse Wheel to increase the font size while writing measures so that it's easy to view.

Trying from this morning why this DAX showing error :The expression refers to multiple columns. Multiple columns cannot be converted to a scalar value. Pls help me out. Top 5 Product = TOPN( 5, ADDCOLUMNS( VALUES(Orders[Product Name]), "Amount", CALCULATE(SUM(Orders[Sales])) ) )

Suresh, Thanks for stopping by. Based on your example, it seems that the syntax of the TOPN function is incomplete. The "OrderBy_Expression1" and "Order1' are missing.
