Thank you for the great video, I made my first vinyl and had trouble with the transfer tape i couldn't get it to stick to the planter. But after watching you I'm going to try again! Oh I used the transfer tape that came with my bundle from Cricut :)
I have so much vinyl I love htv but I have so much permanent and adhesive and removable vinyl from all of the mystery boxes 😂I have to use it so thanks for the idea and great information ❤
Hi Angie! First, let me say how very THANKFUL I am for you and your content! I received my Maker for Xmas in 2020 and JUST started learing to use it - with your help! I'm loving it, but I'm having an issue with some Cricut vinyl I ordered from Amazon. I've wasted an entire sheet of permanent glossy vinyl! It cuts my project, but when I try to weed it its VERY difficult and I can't get the project off of the backing paper w/out ruining the project. Please help! I've even tried having it use "More" pressure when cutting. TIA!

Hello, I have a Cricut Maker machine. New to this. So, do you always have to use the transfer tape? I got the Smart Vinyl. Permanent Vinyl. I cut out a heart and i was able to stick it on a bin, without the need of a transfer tape. So I just need to know, why do you have to use it? If my vinyl already has adhesive on it? Is it more for like smaller designs where the transfer tape would be needed? Thanks in advance
Transfer tape is more for keeping your design into place. So with a single heart, you would not need it. But in the example I am doing here you would want all of these small pieces to stay in place and transfer tape is what is used to do that.
8:20 when I try to pull my design off the plastic surface I am sticking the vinyl to, it always sticks to the transfer tape, it never works as good as she made it seem!
WOW!! You made that look so easy LOL. I tried my first vinyl project but it went down hill fast when I was trying to peel it off the mat. My question to you is.....Can you tell me why my adhesive vinyl stuck to the cricut mat and ripped the adhesive away from the vinyl? I'm still learning my Maker. Just wondering what I did wrong?
In my experience, some letters lift off water bottles after a while (couple of months). I have been using permanent vinyl from Cricut. Do you have a suggestion/solution to this issue? I have spoken to others who have experienced this same issue.
When I try to weed, it’s very difficult for me, I need help. I’ve done multiple projects with htv. It’s my first time trying the permanent adhesive, could it be the blade that cuts the vinyl?? Need advice?
I would say if your design is extremely small or intricate, weeding will be hard. Otherwise, I would just press the vinyl down on the mat really well to get a better cut.
Hello hope you are still active i am in the process of doing car decals and I happened to pick up Cricut premium permanent vinyl and it has a clear back! Which side do i cut on the clear side or color side???
i used circuit permanent glossy vinyl. I've cut out the design three times. thought maybe I cut too deep, so changed settings. I can't for the life of me get the transfer tape to remove the permanent vinyl so it goes on the transfer paper so I can apply to my canvas. Can I use temporary vinyl instead? Then if I spray with crystal clear over the design, will it stay on the canvas. I don't want to remove the vinyl ever from the canvas Help Please, this is my first time cutting
Put vinyl on the mat and cut it with a kiss cut. Weed away all excess. Then put transfer tape over the top. Burnish down. Peel back tape leaving vinyl on the tape. Put on your surface. Burnish. Peel back transfer tape.

No matter what I used and no matter how hard I tried, the adhesive vinyl does not stick to my item. It comes right back up with the transfer tape. This was an amazing instructional video, but I'm so bummed it's just not in the cards for me!
I find your video's very informative and you make using cricut look easy. I do have a question. I like writing my own text and sometimes it can be anywhere from 2 lines to 10 lines is it possible to have this come off as 1 piece so it will be easy to transfer it to my surface. I like do do a lot of inspirational items. What is the best way to reach you. I did like and subscribed
@@AngieHolden what if I attach each letter in the sentence then weld them would the sentences come out in one piece so I don't have to transfer each letter one by one. I don't want to have to each letter one by one too much work and I will never get them straight and even Thank you
When i tried this for the first time (im new) it seems to have cut all the way through. Now i can't remove the paper successfully from the matt... How can i avoid this?

This may be a silly question, if I’m sending the sticker off in the mail, can I just leave the transfer material on top of the vinyl and they can remove it from the main backing attached to the vinyl later?
