Honestly as a graphic designer this gets me so excited because it means that I will be able to prototype for clients much quicker and will be able to give them tangible prototypes and mockups without spending hours and hours on something only for them to switch up and change ideas last minute. AI isn't going to ever be a replacement. Its going to be a tool just like everything else we already use as designers. Anyone who is freaking out about their job or profession disappearing probably would have said the same thing when photoshop, illustrator and publisher were released.
I agree. We have maybe ten years and then the AI will create whatever a person with no skills in web design want. Likely the AI will couple with a NoCode web system like WebFlow or Editor X. I am not concerned right now but I am for the future. This could cause a system wide collapse. I see ChatGPT focusing on legal issues and so it will replace lawyers once it has error correction added. Now ChatGPT makes up stuff sometimes. Also, I can see doctors being replaced online with that. I agree that people are acting hysterical. The genie is out of the bottle and can't be put back. As a designer I am excited. I am using ChatGPT to help me right two books that I couldn't finish because I got stuck. This AI helps me get unstuck by talking to me like a fellow writer that I can get feedback from.
'without spending hours and hours on something only for them to switch up and change ideas last minute. ' - FYI they are not going to pay you for these hours and hours anymore. They are going to all the R&D in AI and pay designers for the last 5-10% - The glory days are over my friend - (inc me)
Just for anyone worried about their careers or getting into the web design business, not all your clients are going to be looking for an Ai generated website. Some are still going to have very specific needs that require the skills of a designer and a developer. Also you still need to understand the basics of development to be able to have an accessible website with a good user experience. This is fun but you won’t be getting jobs with this unless your client doesn’t know anything. And as a designer and developer myself I can tell the difference between a good website and a bad one it’s not just the visuals plus google may have an issue with sites like this along the road. Ai should be used as a reference or inspo and an aid not something to do all the work.
Until recently you needed to know the basics of art to draw a fricking showlace. No offense. But your point doesnt make sense when AI is getting better any second it gets new artwork fed to its alghorithm. I am a defender of AI-art and even I see the issue with this. At one point, generic art like this will be unrecognizable to real art because art like this already exists on mass to begin with, more so than real art. As for good customer experience, lets be real, thats very easy to master based on what you want to see. Whats a good user experience? See item, see all details you NEED about the item, have variety to choose from, send to cart, buy. Maybe add an intellegent search function based on google onto it or Amazon or whatever it may be but it really isnt hard once you think about it for 5 seconds.
@@GikamesShadow I can tell you really don't have a grasp on everything that goes into web design and development. AI in its current state is not able to handle everything from accessibility , SEO , or user experience. Also you have to take into consideration that not all clients have the same needs. In the industry I work in this would not even begin to meet the needs of my clients more would I even utitilize AI for a website design, think of clients that need/want their own photos ( ai can't produce that ) think of clients that want certain functionality on their site. Sure you can use AI to assist in building it out but you still have to qa that work and user test that work and even then its not like AI is using best design principles in both web design or ui/ux. So until that happens human interaction is still needed. I don't mind ai but I know a bad website from a good one and that's fundamentally a bad website.
The downfall of Silicon Valley Bank has caused significant damage to the worldwide financial markets. As a result, investors are scrambling to revise their projections for interest rate increases and hastily selling off bank stocks across the board. As someone who has invested 200k in stocks, I find myself at a pivotal moment, wondering whether it's wise to cash out my depreciating portfolio. What strategies should I adopt to make the most of this bearish market?
The recent events with SVB make it unlikely for the market to make significant gains soon, so it's wise to manage expectations and prepare for a potentially long recovery period. It's recommended to avoid making significant investment decisions until the economic environment stabilizes in areas of concern. It's best to exercise caution and avoid engaging with the current turbulence
Productivity is never accidental; it is always the result of careful planning, dedication, and consistency. I am grateful to God for my advisor, Yuval Eric Brokman; with his help, I am now financially secure, earning between $10,000 and $25,000 per week.
Just a little correction at 6:40 U 1234 are command to upscale 1234 images and V 1234 are command to Variate 1234 images respectively. Calling V 1234 as version is technically ambiguous. V1 would generate 4 variations of 1st image. And U 1 would upscale 1st image.
This is incredible. Like many people I'm a jack of many trades and master of none when it comes to web development, and this tutorial finally makes that seem like a good thing. By having a little knowledge in a lot of areas and using these amazing tools together I can prototype fantastic looking websites very quickly. I'm currently a sophomore software engineering student and plan to use this tutorial and these tools to create apps and websites to cultivate a portfolio and hone my craft. Thanks for this!
Study history. You are deluding yourself. Low skilled work is going to end up being performed in places with low cost labor. Textiles, steel, CGI... they all transformed from high skilled/high paid jobs to low skill/low paid jobs.
@@yekutielbenheshel354 deluding myself? Awfully presumptuous there, fella. After SE I will be getting a masters in artificial intelligence. And who will programs AI? Low paid AI programmers? 🤣
True. I also just think this will be a very useful tool to "fill in the gaps" in ways that we might be lacking as designers/web developers. I think having a solid knowledge of how to build websites, alongside tools like these, will make really amazing website creations.
This is simply ridiculous, thank you for such a nice workflow and explanation. As a designer running my own studio at the moment, AI is for sure scary but let's be honest, the amount of content that can be created is simply amazing. And if you love this profession, this can't be bad. I will embrace all those new tools as much as possible and try to create as much as I can. If one day we are fully replaced by AI, I guess we will have to find a different path to pay our bills but at least I am going to enjoy the journey through those exciting times and just be amazed by the results those AIs are bringing to us.
I totally agree with you bro. I think we making too much noise for nothing. AI is just a new great tool for human advancement. Now we as human have a tool, an assistant to use our brain power for more true creations. AI is great, powerful tool for human race advancement! I'm happy to live this era!
I'm also excited at the same time worried at what I have seen with AI results at the end, and I can agree with you in this that I'm gonna embrace it when the time has come to replace us fully then we shall go and start driving tracks for Amazon.....lol🤣😂
I disagree. People will start to see that there is no longer a "creative process" or "thinking" involved in the design process. Designers will start to transform more into "tracers" or "copiers". We are probably looking at a drastic cut in compensation in the future. I think designers, copywriters, web dever's are in trouble.
I like how this approach allows designers to create nice designs more quickly. As a developer I love coding beautiful designs but the designers don't always deliver something great. Now they will!
@@danielvilliers612 bye bye to what though? This tool is great if you already have the skills and saves a tremendous amount of time and effort but i think most people are expecting to use AI to just input some words and automatically do what professionals are doing. It doesn't work that way
Dude!! You knocked it out of the park with this demo re: MidJourney (new to me - thanks!), ChatGPT (cool! I’ve been using), and EditorX. I wonder if you’re sponsored by EditorX cause.. as a long term Web Developer (coder), what you were showing from EditorX was the cherry on the top of the awesome AI tools. Wow … nice work!!
First thing i did was “subscribe” Second thing i pressed “bell icon” Third thing did was “liked the video” Fourth thing was “saved for later” Fifth thing I”shared with 5 team mates” I have become a super huge fan of yours. Beautiful way of teaching, soft and husky voice, awesome tips. what else any one would want. Big love from India ❤
This video showcasing the combination of AI art and ChatGPT to create breathtaking web designs is truly innovative and inspirational. Kudos to the creator!
I love your video and the attention to detail, for example that you put your screen in a stretched version on the right of the video. thats something that makes your tutorial alot more interesting and dynamic! great content!
This really opens up more options when it comes to design thinking. I will start testing out different site designs in midjourney today. Thanks! Great video!
as stephen hawking said "the Ai will be the last invention for humanity . they will give him the power of creativity and make decisions and when they release that they cant reach his level of power due to the obstacle of Biology facing humans then it will be too late for them
Great video! I've spent the last 5 hours messing around with Midjourney and holy crap! I was able to send my client 8 different landing page ideas in no time! Great tool, look forward to using AI more!
this is absolutely fantastic workflow for building a prototype. as a software developer I am confident that no code tools such as these are definately the way to go for spinning up a whole new website with design. This makes it to where I can ignore all the programming logic TILL AFTER the general design, THE LOOK & FEEL of the site is soley just in that creative headspace. Editor X was such a fantastic discovery for me, however I think Webflow is more promising after inspecting them both and only Webflow you can export your website into code which is what i would need.
When WordPress came, we thought we would lose our jobs, it only enhanced it. When Shopify came, we thought we would lose our jobs, it only enhanced it. When wix came, we thought we would lose our jobs, it only enhanced it. And that's simply what AI tools like these will do for those who care to learn to use them. No serious business man will waste their time going through all these stress instead of simply paying me to go through that stress for them. If AI does replace web developers/designers it's because web developers/designers are using it more than they should. And if you fear it will replace your job, then either you learn how to use it and stay on top of the game. Great video but dude makes it look way easier than it really is and oh he didn't mention the part where you have to pay to use midjourney after your 25th query. How do you create multiple pages, how do you create animations, how do you export the website when you are done, etc. Unless the client is a web designer himself, I doubt any client will have time to waste on learning all these just to design their site.
Agreed, most clients need to clearly define what they even want in a website, game or app. That's where design and developers come in to translate and use AI to make it a reality.
Plus dude got a perfectly tasteful design with brown and cream colors...then scrapped it in favor of such ghastly combinations as teal and yellow 🤮🤮🤮 the colors of my vomit emoji 🫠
Great tutorial, there is also a plugin/extension that is basically just a color picker tool in your browser, so you don't have to change the code or look for it, just click it with a single press of a button and you have your color code for an even more efficient workflow :)
Someone in my company put this as a mandatory video to complete in our learning path. It is amazing I haven't seen this before, you just showed a whole number of possibilities to start creating anything you want in a matter of MINUTES. Thanks for this video 🙌🏻
Don't be a newbie and present all of your ideas to the public.... type in /private. It will give an error message but start a DM with you, now you got the same bot in a 1 on 1 chat. Doesn't get clouded with all other prompts and not everyone sees your ideas :).
i just finished graphic design school. I really loved this field. I feel very depressed and sad that i wont be able to work on this field, i wanted so much to make my dream come true, even for some years. I had so much to offer and many ideas.
Very good video and you are a natural teacher/instructor. The only problem now is that Midjourney has just about crashed under overwhelming demand. So it is no longer free to use. So perhaps you could tell us how to use Leonardo or Playground instead? :)
i actually hope more people use ai art and ai generated prompt technology so that people with actual talent can be recognized for not using cop out solutions
I think this is something DJ culture wrongly believes too. You have digital DJ's who use tools like Traktor and Scratch who are viewed as "Cheaters" compared to DJ's that use only vinyl. The only people that really focus on that are the DJ's themselves. The people consuming the music and dancing in the clubs don't care how the music is being played. They're just there to enjoy the end-product. There will always be a place for truly custom work, but for the most part, I don't think people are going to care how the work was created as long as it's good.
"Look how lazy I am, isn't it great, client? What? No, sorry I can't make that change, the ai just doesnt seem to understand what you need. Sorry. No, I can't do it either. I just write the prompts, I dont actually create anything."
Good information! Howver As a web developer I can see loads of technical and visual flaws to that final website. I am happy the human interaction is still necesary, at least in a 70 or 80 percent. I can see these tools as an starting point of visual inspirations, that's all.
If I designed a t-shirt in midjourney, midjourney gives me the mockup with a model wearing the t-shirt, how do I extract just the actual design thats on the t-shirt? So I can manipulate it further or print on demand?
Thanks for sharing your knowledge man. You just proved to me that I don’t have to be a pro programmer to design websites. I’m glad RU-vid algorithm brought me here. 👍🏾
i am just beginning with the web development. your this video really helped me a lot. Thank you, stay healthy and keep on making such good contents for the learners like me.
I love creating AI art pieces to use as website background images. Throw in the paralax scrolling. Sticky transparent header. Recently niched down into offering web design and development for spiritual businesses.
The problem with Editor X, as far as I know, is that you cannot export the code. Most companies have their own servers, on premises or in the cloud, and want to host their websites themselves.
@@scottvanzandt2643 I am sick of those clickbait tutorials. Ai will do this, do that and we are doomed/obsolete. The truth is that this "tutorial" proves it is a worthless excercise and if I were to advise I would simply buy a template!
@@cynamonstudio I don't think it was entirely useless it shows that we, as designers, can easily prototype or previz something for a client that would take less time to modify before jumping in to finalized or more concrete direction. Less work for more cash is never a bad thing.
@@localchoom Try to do this in a real-world environment. After an hour of tuning the prompt and dozens of trials you will quickly realize it is super fun while doing it for fun, but when it comes to production regime it is - I repeat - useless apart from producing some assets here and there.
You are a rock star man ! This presentation was fire from Hell ! I was used to build website in the past and I was wondering how much new AI tools could accelerate the process. I clearly see the huge potential now. Thanks a lot !
I’m not just saying this.. every year there is that 1 video on RU-vid that blows your mind with endless thoughts & makes you want to be creative. Can’t believe we are not even out of January 2023 & you’ve made this. Amazing, well presented & full of information.
Absolutely amazing! Thanks for sharing this great perspective on how to use AI. A lot of people is concerned (I really understand), but it's nice to follow the potential opportunities.
This was a great tutorial lol. I had the same exact idea which is why I came upon you. I will go straight to the Elegant Themes version now and see if I can sell some magical templates now. This AI tool is going to be lucrative for those of us who are keen and motivated to try it
I agree that design part eith midjourney is amazing and I have been using it myself but editor X doesnt give much advantage over people who know basic web dev.
As a total beginner to this I am somewhat overwhelmed by the complexity. I am a real life professional hand-to-paper artist but I do not use, nor understand photoshop nor any technical tools like that. This would be a very slow journey for an untechie like myself, but could be fun. However, I think it is going to further reduce traditional artistic skills people have as they let a machine do it all for them, in the same way intelligence in people has been recorded as dropping no thanks to the internet.
Please do more vides on the best way to fix the funky images the AI spits out. Often it can generate some good looking stuff but it’s often broken and unusable. Loving the content. Subbed. 👍🏼
Exceptional video and thank you for taking us on this AI journey. I guess the one 'missing link' at the moment is the ability to generate the homepage HTML/CSS from the website image automatically. That would be really cool and I assume there's someone somewhere working on an AI to do just that.
@@nftreview Thanks - But I mean the actual putting together of the site using EditorX which still requires manual creation of the page even if it is drag/drop these days. Wouldn't it be amazing if at some point in the near future, some AI can automatically produce the HTML/CSS directly from the original Website Image, bypassing the need for EditorX 🙂
Hey Codex Community! I just wanted to drop by and say a huge THANK YOU for all the amazing content you've been putting out on your RU-vid channel. Your videos are seriously helpful, and I really appreciate that you're sharing all this great stuff for free. Your video on building a website design was an absolute lifesaver for me. Seriously, you saved me months of work! Your explanations are super clear and easy to follow, and I learned so much from it. So thanks again for everything you do. You're making a real difference, and your hard work doesn't go unnoticed. Keep up the awesome work, and I can't wait to see what you come up with next! Cheers
I really enjoy this video, have learned a lot about Midjourney prompts, but I am not familiar with Photoshop and Editor-X, I think this is more like designer aproach of building website, but it is good to know the process and fun to watch, Adrian is the man 👍
Would love to see the process for building a Wordpress website. I current have most of theses tool except for editor X. Can editor x sites be converted over to WP?
I love these ideas. My concern is over rights to the AI art. When I joined Midjourney a few months ago, their terms and conditions stated they own all rights to the art. That means I can't use it commercially, for a website or anything else.
2 things in mind: - 1st is an important question: A website consists of multiple pages, a client wouldn't ask for 1 page usually especially when it comes to products, how to create multiple pages and at the same time make them coherent and not every page a different design? - The shoes on the front page is cool but usually homepage should have products that are AVAILABLE that the client wants to sell and not inexistent shoes.
It was actually shown in the video, maybe not explicitly. You can input images and prompt the AI to output similar or more versions. Though in the future, you’ll be able to bound it to your business graphic identity.
Answer: Learn how to design. You sound like you know absolute zero about website design, yet you are talking about creating websites for clients. GTFO dummy
Great video and thank you for sharing this information. Would there be a similar site like "Midjourney", but for building out videos instead of static type pics?
Thank you for sharing this. I'm now going to venture into the world of web design and if I make it, just take gratification that you had something to do with it.
A honest review of the state of AI Bluewillow . I love how you show what works and what doesn’t as opposed to the mainstream media where they cherry pick the one query that gives crazy good results
i asked chatgpt to give a comment about this video this is what it says: 🚀 "Mind = Blown! 🤯 This video just showcased the future of web design. Who would have thought that AI could not only write content but also design visually stunning websites? The synergy between MidJourney's AI art and ChatGPT's content generation is revolutionary. As a web designer, this excites and terrifies me at the same time. The game is changing, folks! 🔥 #AIWebDesignRevolution"
Definitely keep them coming lots of consolidated insights on A.I comes from these gives one an early realignment especially to those who sense a disrupt prelude in their industries like us techies
thank you! im new to these AI platforms and im beyond excited to learn how to use them. as a creative artist and entrepreneur, i'm trying to do it all myself from the webpages to as many platforms as i can reach. as do we all, time is limited so anything that can help a startup microbusiness of one can be the difference b/t failure and success. i have my fine arts degree along w/ the 2 year specialization in painting and drawing. (10years of debt ya'll). however, since i studied thr masters, my specialization in trad'l techniques is a dying art lol. i have had such a hard time keeping up with digital artists that can really work much faster even though by choice I wanted the traditional knowledge and techniques. this chatgpt and other brand new art generation is what ive been waiting for. there is nothing like studying in the style of the masters of historical painting but my ideas haven't been accessible at the speeds i want them produced before they are lost to time constraints. my "writer's block" has been debilitating and only empowered my depression. this AI is a godsend for me and so many artists. finally, i feel like technology can make my degrees marketable without the starving artist lifestyle. for millennia, artists have had to die for their artwork to become profitable. i'm so grateful that this technology can help artists and creatives to express ourselves and be appreciated on a global scale. i graduated in 2014 and never dreamed we'd be so fortunate. your channel is helping me to learn how to utilize AI to make my images. from the bottom of so many of our hearts... thank you for takung your tine to share.
I'm currently learning to get back to basics. Had a 1 and 1 website for years that worked. Did the classic mistake and changed something that worked. Things had moved on so outsourced my website to my mistake. You are immense. Can you help me get back to where I was?
