How to use Application composer to create a custom function

This is really nice that you have build a custom application using application composer without ICS and VBCS. Will it be possible to do a short video on how did u build this application. I would love to know what step you did to setup "Web-Service" under "Common Setup" and more importantly what security policies need to be considered? Please comment!
