Thank you so much. After 4 hours of troubleshooting the problem I found out it was because the bios version does not supported my ryzen 9 processor. After updating the bios everything worked fine and i got the post signal

I just build a new pc with b550m plus tuf gaming, ryzen 5600, and a pair of corsair lpx ram. It cant go into bios as it stuck at tuf gaming logo with "please press del or f2 to enter uefi bios setting". When i push del or f2 button nothing happens. On motherboard bios and dram led is on, so i suspect the problem is the Corsair ram as it not in the compatibility list then i replace it with HyperX ram, but it is still the same. What's the problem could it be? Is it possible updating the bios will solved this problem?
can ask? my motherboard asus tuf b450m plus ii and ryzen 5 5600g. What serial bios should be for Ryzen 5 5600g? because after I installed windows, my display often freezes every 10 minutes and shows "display timeout" from the onboard VGA. and the onboard vga seems unreadable in dxdiag and in device manager.
Thanks so much. Is it best practice to just do this anyway or can you try booting with it built? But what happens if the CPU isn’t supported and the MB needs bios update will you get an error? I guess I’m trying to figure out why you can’t boot into bios and update it from the tool there.
Hey! Just wanted to be sure guys: I have the same mobo with CPU that requires newer BIOS (5800X3D). I assembled the whole unit (including CPU), can I do the flashback now? And does it just require turning the power supply on, without powering the whole PC?
First i bought a b450 (tuf b450 plus gaming) and a ryzen 5 5600, and i didnt knew that i need a 3th gen ryzen to update bios. So i brought it back to the store and purchased a b550(tuf b550 plus), because a friend said i can update it with that flashback button. I will try this tomorrow and see if that's really working. Sorry for bad grammar...
Man today i faced a problem my fears that my mobo is dead I tried to install a new bios on my rog x570e gaming in order to install a ryzen 5000 cpu which i didn't receive it yet as gou know i can install a new bios update on asus mobo using asus flash bios on the i/o shield i just need to plug 24 pins cable and also the cpu 8 pin cable the problem is that the mobo didn't light up and that what increased my fears that's it's dead i said why not test the psu maybe it's the problem i attached a paper clip on the 16/17 pins of my corsair rm 750x and thanks god it worked and fans did spin. But i remember once i disabled the aura sync of mobo lights so when my pc is on standby mode those lights are off i don't know if the bios can keep those settings saved even if my mobo doesn't have a cpu only 2 memory sticks installed or the mobo is dead and that is my big fears I didn't remove the battery
I believe it would be the same process, just make sure the PC is off but the power supply is on so the motherboard has power. I have never updated the bios on an already assembled pc, so you might want to search around a bit for more accurate info.
it seems that the new TUF Boards .. dosnt Matter if it’s for Intel or AMD Basis now , do not longer come with the Bios Flashback Feature on the TUF / TUF Plus Boards … now you have to invest for a ROG Strix one to get this Feature … quite weak from Asus 😑
you can try doing it with just power to motherboard, but giving both power worked flawlessly for me. I don't know if just giving power to motherboard will work
@@slickframes in my case, everything started almost from the first time and worked somehow slowly. After updating the bios, everything started flying!))
Check if you have formatted to the right thing and also check to see if youve downloaded the bios files, if you can you should also try to use another usb if possible.
Hey bro, my motherboard doesnt have a specific usb port for BIOS update, unlike your one, mine one doesnt have one. They are all normal USB ports, does that mean I can put it in any?

@@slickframes FML. I did everything you had done on your video and the monitor turns on than off. Than I proceeded to reset the CMOS and took battery out after 5min place it back in. Than took the rams out cleaned it and place it back in. Still no display.?
@@D4ng3Ros. when booting it should have lights on the board indicating where its getting stuck during the boot process. They should be right above the 24 pin connection. that will tell you what your problem is

I have this same mb and have been trying to get a screen after installing my new 5900x from a 1600x Thought i wouldnt have any problems cause its says 5000 series ready on it but i figured the first cpu might've done something to the factory bios or something
congrats on the new beast of a CPU! Tis a bummer you had booting issues, hopefully a Bios update solved the issue. Enjoy those 12 cores of awesomeness lol I was shocked at the performance shift from my old 7700k to the 5950x
@@slickframes sorry to bug you but after trying out a few games it seems my cpu is running at 90+ degrees when gaming so i was gonna ask if maybe downloading the wrong bios might've had something to do with it or if you think its something else
if there is a sticker on the front of the box that says "Ryzen 5000 series ready" then the bios was updated already. If it doesnt, then you need to update it to work
I've never done it without a flash drive, but I do know it is possible. As long as you have a supported cpu to slot into it. Meaning if you only have a 5000 series cpu, then you'll be out of luck as it wont boot.
if your motherboard doesnt support flash BIOS, then you will need to first boot the pc up with a supported CPU. install the BIOS update on the motherboards website. Then uninstall the old CPU and slot in the new one.
the motherboard did not have a 5000 series Bios update. It also ended up helping a lot of others, whom might have been nervous or unknowledgeable about doing it.
If the motherboard box has a "Ryzen 5000 series ready" sticker on the front, then it will boot with your 5600x. If it does not, then you will have to flask it like I did.
@@luciferp3263 if the motherboard box has a 5000 series ready sticker on the front, the bios has already been updated and the PC will boot with your cpu. If it does not, your pc wont boot with your cpu, and you will need to do the usb flash.
it does support all 5000 series ryzen CPU's, but might need a BIOS update to make it work. The box will have a Ryzen 5000 series ready sticker on the front if the BIOS was already updated at the factory.
