We have the same problem (same model). It leaves wet puddles under the brush area when it is off and without touching the release button. Have you sorted yours?
No it doesn’t make steam. It’s called the proheat because the way it’s built. They say the heat from the motor is redirected to the water tank so it keeps it hot during cleaning.
Hi!!! Thank you for the video! One question: is the water hot? Like, is your carpet wet but warm? ;) I bought this model but the water sprayed is not hot enough. I thought it would be really hot but is cold. what do you think? Thanks!
Hi Joana, this carpet cleaner doesn’t heat the water so whatever water you put in will stay at that temperature. The directions say you can put hot water from the tap in but state not to use boiling water. Hopefully that help!
I don’t use this as a vacuum cleaner. It has a very low profile and is not designed for use as a vacuum. I always vacuum first and then use the carpet cleaner to remove dirt and debris deep inside the carpet fiber.

These videos are useless I want to know, is to hold the button in for the water to come out or you do not touch the button for the water to come out. You don’t tell none of that.
You pull the trigger in the handle of the cleaner to spray water. When you release the trigger the water stops spraying. I did go over that in video at the 03:25 mark. I thought I explained it pretty well but sorry to hear you’re having issues. Were you able to get yours working?
Great video! If you watch carefully, the demonstrator explains about holding the trigger on the handle to spray the water and repeating it three times and then release the trigger and go over the area 3 times to suction the water.
