Have a friend who mains Bryan and doesn't get as much time as me to lab so having content for him that isn't like "oh so you want to win EVO?" would be really awesome
I went from maining AK to working on Bryan EXTENSIVELY!! He definitely demands a lot of practice. Sooo glad you started to check him out, a real joy to win with, but it’s not easy (at higher level).
@@ThoughtsOfHimself Man, you can get a lot of mileage outta covering Bryan lol. Having a good grasp of not only Tekken, but matchup knowledge is detrimental to him. For example I don’t use f4,1 against Kazuya much at all, twin pistons wrecks it on block. Using 4,3 to punish more often to avoid punch parries as well fish for the ch. lots of situational stuff to where some moves are almost completely nullified (jet upper against Lei and Ling as well the machs). Qcf 4,1 is underrated ch fishing tool, mid with excellent range, excellent pushback on block, safe and huge dmg on ch from the 4 (1 is guaranteed at that point). Either way, you always do excellent work bro, love your content!
Please please please make more content for Bryan I’ve been playing him after playing king for so long, I’ve practically watched all your videos for king so Bryan vids would help me a lot
I love your videos, came to the channel because I mais king, but a close second for me is Bryan, I'd love immensily if you did more Bryan guides. Love your staff bro, and keep up the good work!
Bryan main here. Would love to see more even tho i knew most of these things. Hatchet at +4 is always pretty risky, gotta make them afraid first. My favourite follow up when im + against characters that r weak to SSL is the mighty MACH KICK. If you play Bryan aggressively and want to maintain your dominance its all about mindgames and balls of steel. A good flowchart for people that r afraid of follow ups could be: D2, hatchet, df1 maybe only couple of them, f3, jab, magic4, then time to stop the momentum or if u did 3,4 people could expect the last part and stand still, up to you. You could potentially go on for very long time with pressure if u did a good job conditioning the opponent. Just always be ready for a challenge at any time. Use the power of unfinished strings, at some point the opponent will press tho and u will get countered on slower moves, that’s the Bryan game. His pressure is always fake and there is always a way out. Unless you hit by f1+2 on block or snake bomb on block.
Hello Himself, thank you for the amazingly detailed guide on Bryan. Would love more bryan content. My request would be on what mindset should be or how bryan operates the best. Best wishes !
I never expected you to do a guide on Bryan, good guide but forgot some imprtant punisher: 1,4 has more reach than 2,3 just reset the game with touchpad+3 and 2 jab dosen't reach anymore unlike 1 jab +4 and less dmg, same follow ups that you said but instead of d4 use db4, instead of f4 use 4 series 4,3 to get another counter either finish the string with 4,3,4 and 4,3,f4 or do 4,3,delay a bit 4 to get a ch launch or just use 4 again if jab trades you can do an instant ff2, 3+4 or rage drive Df2,1 mid +8 more reach than 4,3 but less dmg Db1+2 i15 mid long range knd Ff2 i14-7 a lot of reach knd wallsplat
Hmm. I'm coming in from Tekken 8, and with Tekken games, most of the combat and frame data tends to be legacy based. I'm sure some of these setups will carry over. I'll be looking it over.
