Your videos are pure gold and thank you for sharing them!!! I live in a country where we have limited access to medication for birds but unfortunately many diseases and many problems. I do wild bird rescue and feral pigeons are often brought in very sick. Plants are better alternative as they do less harm to the bird body and cover more problems.
Just bought 5 books from amazon and going to buy all the collection love your books and teaching you really helped me a lot Mr.busecan saved my birds using your methods had a problem that I couldn't get rid of but I used what you posted on your videos and what antibiotics couldn't fix your methods fixed. Great Video! I have just bought yout book! I have seen a feral pigeon or dove with canker on my field. It has a lump in its neck. It tries to eat the food I leave but I cant catch it yet.. Can I put cinammon water out for it and what dose? I already leave water out for the wild birds in 4 litre bowls and he will probably use the same bowls? Can you give me any advise?

thank you so much for the video .. I have a problem with my homers like dropping one of the wings and occasionly they cant fly ... some will recover and so far like 5 out of thirty didn't yet .. I had some dead tipplers that started with same problem ... I have like 10 chickens(6 month old ) and one of them started to limp so I thought broken leg but after putting her alone for two weeks she is not improving ... so can you let me know please whats the problem ... note that its winter here in Pennsylvania ..
Sorry to hear this Eddie. Before I start with my opinion I would like to advice you to take some droppings samples for a precise diagnose because you have a real big problem and this is a disease that cause the death of your birds. Diseases that cause death on pigeons are : Salmonella, E coli, New Castel disease, Paramixovirus. I would exclude the last two as you did not mentioned twisted necks In your birds so we are left with the first two. Salmonella manifest itself with incapacity of flying because of the swelling of the joints (wings - dropping wings, legs- limpy legs). I like to make a "tea" of cinnamon and honey before and after a race. A tablespoon of cinnamon in boiling water to steep for a bit, then add to the rest of the water in the drinker for a gallon of water total. Two tablespoons (one tablespoon can also be done instead) of honey in the warm water also to mix well before adding cool water in the drinker.
Could the cinnamon capsules at the store in the vitamin section be used also as treatment for canker? I'm not sure if it would be too strong for them as most capsules are 1,000 mg. Cinnamon is really wonderful. it is also good for blood sugar regulation. my dad takes it because if he eats too much sugar he "crashes". if he takes cinnamon in the morning, he can eat lots of sugary food and drinks (not good for him but tempting haha) and it will not phase him at all!
I never used these capsules for my pigeons so it would not be wise to tell whether are good or not . Whatever Natural poduct i can prepare for my birds ,i will do it myself by using the dosage presented in my videos ,i know they work because i have tried them many many times on my birds and onto other fancier friends. My pigeon is not eating since three days..And when I give her cinnamon with water she contains lot of thick saliva after that..And her neck was swellen.. and I can't able to feed her as it's choking her mouth. Wat should you recommend for this..
Hey once again... am back with a new problem.. one of my dove she is sick not eating not drinking always sleeping lying down... her poop is watery cause i offer water byforce and color is dark green or green. @@tinajacob9007 Yes, it did work. Crop cancer can be cured successfully. Mine was an adult bird. I gave it a cinnamon water paste pill every second day for a week and it was cured. I'm sure it will work for your young pigeon too.
My pigeon on her upper mouth it has white yellowish and even her voice is too low as babies at this age squeak alot and this one is very silent. So i guess the canker is troubling no other symptoms as of now good feeding still active bt mostly sleeping feels cold when its hot here

U can use these natural producs throughout the year. Always monitor your birds and the reaction they have to them .Whether you want to increase or decrease the dosage and the number of days per week it is totaly up to you .I could not give advice regarding how birds will react on asian countries as i do not live there, but your experienced eye should see how the birds are feeling and react to such preventive or cure treatments with these natural products. Hello . I do not suggest to give it in daily basis to the breeders that have young ones UNLESS Canker is present in your loft. If parents have canker then it will be transmitted to the babies as well . in this case you will have to offer them cinnamon to cure them. in their first week of life babies are fed breast milk extremely rich in nutrients . if the parents do not have canker let them be and when the young birds have about 3 weeks old you can introduce some cinnamon . @@stichelbautpigeons Hello and update on this. I tried the corn size balls of Cinnamon with water to my birds and 2 of them threw up all thr food they ate. Rest were fine and ate normal after. For the 2 who threw up, shall i tried on them again when they are hungry or shall pass it on the next week as i plan to do this twice a week for a month. (They do not have any Canker). Please advise.

HI! We found yesterday a very young collared dove with canker; the neck is visible big and he/she cannot self feed. Poor one is powerless and needs food... Should we start now with the treatment? SYLVIA ALLEN Diatomaceous Earth or DE...Must be Food Grade...NOT Industrial Grade. Humans can consume food grade. Industrial grade OK for bugs in carpets, however if pets and birds lick or preen....Food Grade (NOT Feed Grade) much safer. Wear a mask as the very fine powder is dangerous for the lungs if breathed in. Possibly dampen before spreading through the pigeon's feathers and cover pigeon's head. Read reviews on Amazon to gain more understanding of uses. Seemingly VERY effective for mites etc on dogs and cats...again be very careful of dust on yourself and pets. I think maybe leave for an hour or so, but please do your own considered research. I've read of it being used for bed bugs too. I haven't tried this yet, but have put mud packs of it on pigeons' torn crops and holes from hawk attacks with fantastic results I did rinse out the crop as much as possible before applying the earth and water mix which had some drops of Tea Tree and Lavender Oil, plus a few drops of Grapefruit Seed Extract (GSE). I think you could cover the pigeon with the earth 'mud' pack and leave till most of it has naturally crumbled and fallen off, although for mites etc they would probably be dead within an hour or two. Severe lacerations will take anything from about 5 days to 2 weeks to fully heal. After first 5 days approximately, you can either wash all off and do a second time...or just make a slightly more water version to put a top coat on the original mud pack. Also, after a few days you can just drip a few drops more of each of the oils and GSE. The oils help the pain besides disinfecting the wound(s). Apply with a wooden lollipop stick. Avoid using metal or plastic spatula. Wood is best, but ceramic or glass would be ok too.

Hi . It is very likely that your bird has coccidiosis ( I presume) . You have seen in the video how I mould the cinnamon in a grain shape , do the same , and give it 3 times per day down the neck . if after 2 days you see no improvement use antibiotics as it means that your bird is in an advance stage of disease. after you have cure it use the natural remedies to maintain your birds health . isolate your bird and serve mint tea instead of water twice per day . I gave my pigeon cinnamon as you have shown and he fall off his perch, started to shiver and it died in less than 5 minutes. He was my pet for 9 years and he may still be alive haven’t given him cinnamon. Those who are watching, think twice before doing it.
