Wow this video was very informative. I like how u said shoestudio. I didn't catch it at 1st cause I was paying attention to my amazon tracking. Had to skip back to hear that again. But I learned pretty much. Especially about the psi. Speed with that back piece to tighten & loosen for more pressure. Appreciate this so much. Can't wait to see ur next project

I have a project coming up later this summer with some mesh running shoes. I'll definitely make a video on it and try to give some tips about painting on that kind of material!

Do u mind explaining the different size needles. What are they for?

Sure! So this specific airbrush came with 3 different needles/tips, .25mm (1), .38mm (2), & .66mm (3). If your paint is more thicker like Angelus acrylic paint and you’re mainly covering larger areas, you’d want to use #3… it also sprays out more paint than #1 & #2. For painting finer details, you can use #1 & #2 but your paint needs to be thinner. I’ve never used #1 on custom shoes just because the paint is too thick. But you can use a #2 for finer details as long as you add thinner to your Angelus paint. Hopefully this makes sense 😅

Thanks! I don’t always sand because I really don’t see a difference. But if I do sand I only focus on the areas that crease. I have a separate video on my channel on prepping shoes ✨

Do you have to clean like this for EACH color you’re using? 😮

You don’t have to take it apart after every color but you do need to run some airbrush cleaner through it a few times to get rid of the previous color. If you don’t, the next color will get mixed with the last color you used. I do recommend taking the airbrush apart and cleaning it after every use otherwise it’ll get clogged.
