This is the thing that just elevated my videos. Anyone who spends time making outdoor videos knows it's really tricky to deal with a cloudy day - especially when the sun is behind the clouds. You either end up with a properly exposed foreground but blown out sky or a properly exposed sky but an unusably dark foreground. Use a color mask to completely isolate your sky, and then work on bringing up the exposure of your foreground. Game changer!
Glad to hear that color masks are elevating your work Wild West Outdoors! Hopefully others can follow suit and get awesome use out of this amazing tool 💪
It's absolutely true! When it comes to editing there are a ton of different aspects you always want to keep in mind, especially with all the tools Final Cut Pro has available. It's why we wanted to share them here for everyone 😎💖 Thank you for tuning in Speedy! We're glad that you enjoyed it!
Thanks for this video. I have a question regarding final cut pro as I am new to it. Can we change the background of any video is its not plain? To be more specific, If my video has a background with logo or the background itself can I change it to black background without impacting the subject? Can you make a video on that if this is possible. Thank you.
You would just have to mask out the subject in your video and delete the surrounding footage. This may help: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-h-3Xm1fyFaM.html
