How to use Controlflash Plus to Fix Download Problems to an Allen Bradley Controllogix PLC 

When downloading a program to a new Allen Bradley 1756-L82E, the download button was grayed out in Studio 5000. I had to use ControlFlash Plus to upgrade the firmware of the Controllogix PLC, then the program downloaded fine. In this case, the regular Controlflash plus would not update the Controllogix's firmware, only Controlflash Plus would work.
