How to use Costway twin-tub washing machine. Wash, rinse, spin cycle. Very easy to use and washes just as good as household washing machine. We use ours in our travel trailer.
The way i fill it up is hold the hose the faucet till it fills up to where water come to. I love the sprinkle rinse spin. I wished it had a pump to pump out the water.
I have the same one. I just have a question? When I put my dark cloths to wash and when I'm done I drain the water and it comes out as black water? Is that normal ? Does that mean my cloths were dirty or is it because it's taking off the color of my dark cloths?
because the drain is super short and i only have a bath tub not an open shower like you.. do you think i could put it on the bathtub? just dont know if the water will fill up the tub and ruin the machine...
I've been binge watching these to see opinions on them. You're the 1st person to say this. I wonder why no one else is using the water intake for the spin cycle...that's what it is there for, lol!!! Common sense should prevail when it comes to rinsing clothes before final spin like a regular washer would do. 🤦♀️🤷♀️😉🙂Oh well...they'll figure it out eventually😁😁
Thank you so much for uploading this video. I just got this machine and the instruction manual wasn't very clear and was about to give up on it until I found your video; it was very helpful.
i purchased this machine also. the instructions are HILLARIOUS! Chinenglish. My guess is they simply took the chinese manual and ran it through Google Translate. My friends and I read them outloud over drinks from front to back every word, and we laughed so hard, we read 'em again. The manual alone is worth the money. Go read the section about preparation before washing. "1. To prevent vibrates the washing machine should be laid on smooth, horizontal. 2. Connect enterhose. Turn on the water cock strobe." Also, if your machine doesn't drain, make sure your HORSE is in the correct position. :D Also, you can wash "twine" in each cycle, a shirt is a "sark," and a towel is a "quilt." :D
I'm surprised you don't use your water inlet on the spinner side? When you open the spinner door you'll see inside there's a little white tray on the top that's where the water comes out to rinse your clothes. It's a lot quicker. You just open the lid transfer the water inlet hose from the left side and put it on the spinner side and then watch all the water go in and rinse your clothes at the same time. I'm only telling you this in case you didn't know if that's what it's for
Sorry it took me so long to respond to any questions. I completely forgot I made this video...lol...until I got back on today, months later. I was surprised anyone had even watched it, so was excited to see over 4,800 views. So glad I could help anyone that found it worth watching. Hope you're enjoying your little machine! :)
Very informative video ma'am. Like others have said, the instructions were very, well, *&$(#@ up...lol. Thank you for the excellent training lesson. You should ask for royalties from Costway, 103,835 views. They should have the link in the instruction manual for you video for those of us that only understand Americanese, as oppose to whatever they call that babble in the manual...LMAO! Once again, great job and thank you!!!
Awesome video. I have a container that collects the water i use when I am warming up my shower and I just repurpose that water for the wash and rinse cycle. Just an idea if anyone is trying to conserve their water.
omg I had NO clue what to do with these instructions! almost set fire to the damn thing and I just got it today.. you, my dear, have saved me from arson charges lol BLESS YOU!
Mallorie Erin don't put it in the shower not safe get you stand with wheels usr at your kitchen sink get a stand that come up to your waist or little below you be just fine
I just ordered this machine. I havea hard time getting to a laundromat and I've been wanting one for a long time. With a new grandchild on the way I finally have an excuse to splurge!lol I can't wait until it comes in!
It sounds like a freight train is passing through your neighbours' apartment. Go check out my posting on it. It's disturbing! Is my testimony good enough for you?
I was just given one of these without the manual. Thank you for this video. I will need to get one of those power surge cords to use in the bathroom cuz I had it in the kitchen to use. Never even thought about how it would drain. That would have been a disaster.
I must say, that I really appreciate your thorough demonstration of how to use this machine. Yours is the best one that I have come across. The users manual was totally useless because it was so poorly written that it presented itself as though it was written by a totally illiterate individual. I have never seen a manual of such pathetic penmanship . Again thank you for sharing your wonderful video even though you may have been under the weather. You took the time to share this with social media. You have my fullest appreciation indeed.
I love mine ❤️ I got mine about a month ago it’s amazing I have mine sitting right next to my tub and toilet I use my shower hose to fill it and I drain it in my toilet works perfectly for me I do have mine on a table so it drains perfectly Each load of laundry I use about 1 tablespoon of detergent during the wash cycle and during the rinse cycle I use my fabric softener it’s amazing
Thanks for the video! I bought the same washer I absolutely love this little washer and worth the money the Manuel wasn’t too clear so I wasn’t sure how to use it I didn’t use the hoses either and stuck mine in the bath tub also and with 3 kids it’s fast and easy to wash clothes!! ;)
Omg! You just made my day with this video! Thank you for doing this even though didn't feel well at the time ^.^ I just got this machine and used it for the first time after your video and your demonstration / explanation was perfect. Thank you so much!
Thanks. I just got one and the directions are garbage. This was awesome. I didn't know what I was getting when I found it on Amazon. I needed something cheap, and this was. Since I live alone in my apartment, I don't have much clothing to wash so this is just right. And once I took out my large broken washer, this one fits on top of the dryer so I can plug it in, use the old hoses, and drain it out the same drain that the washer used. But it works just fine. I have to be involved in every step, but that's ok, still better than paying $400 or more for a bigger one.
i am hoping to go this summer but we go every year to Jersey shore from Arizona for a month we usually bring month worth for clothes but this year going try pack for 2 weeks and hat hope my uncle can bring his he seems to love his guess he use it for his work clothes
Thank you so much for this! I got my washing machine today and I swear, the instructions are in Yiddish or Swahili or something! This tutorial is great! 🤗
I just got mine and love it!!! I went out in the hall where my bathroom would be and could just barely make out the hum of the machine if I got really close to the wall.
Here's a tip, the rinse is actually done on the spin side and you one would run water into the spin side while it's spinning for a min or two. Then turn the water off and let the clothes spin completely for three min or until nearly dry. This can only be done if you have the intake hoses hooked up. Because the spin side will not work of the lid is lifted.
Thanks so much! Bought this off of Amazon and used it once in two years! Instruction manual is pretty useless and too small a print to read. This video was very helpful. Thanks again! Will now use this machine more regularly.
Good video but you're doing this all wrong ... This is how you use this machine correctly. #1. Put your clothes in the left side. Fill water to just a bit above them. While filling add soap. Turn on and let go till finished. Switch to drain and let drain. #2. Pull all the clothes (yes they are still full of soap) in the right spinner. Switch your water so it enters the (right side) spinner. #3. Turn on the spinner and your water for about 1 min or so (this will totally rinse out all the soap and/or bleach). #4. Once rinsed out (you don't see anymore soap coming out of the drain hose) then set the spinner for 5 min and let that complete.
This is a really good video. I have osteoarthritis in both knees and my back. So going up and down stairs kills me. I just bought this washer to use in the garage as I have a utility sink there. The “user manual “ is a joke and totally useless. Your video is so complete and answers all my questions. Thanks so much for making this video!❤❤
Ur demo was very helpful but that plastic piece that comes in the spinner goes under the clothes not on top! Other than that, thanks bevause ur tutorial was better than other's!
Thank you for the very helpful video! I am now draining my first load and I like this machine so far. Can you tell me if this machine can handle towels? Sheets? Bleach?
after you wash you drain clothes then put them in the spinner to get out all the dirty water and then you put them back into the wash side for the rince with softner thats really how you do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you for the video demo. I bought mine used with no manual. When I went to Costway's website and downloaded the instructions they were hard to understand. I agree with you in regards to the hose for filling the washer. Why wouldn't the manufacture develop some kind of universal attachment to fit different faucets including hoses.
I have the 32 pound version of this. I find if I throw the load in the spinner and then fill tub to rinse I don’t have the suds form in the wash tub during the rinse. I love my little washer. And yes it does work better than a big top loader.
Thanks for the video! Travel trailer! Travel Trailer! He he 😊 Under $100.? Usd i guess. It sells online for $269. I paid $200. I was scared to use it before yr video! So,thanks💗Now off to do some wash. I will be sitting it in my shower on my shower chair so it drains good.
Washing by twin tub was the 80s trend. ACDO washing powder and Lenor fabric softener, then peg the clothes out on the washing line. Sunday afternoon 2pm, then Sunday roast chicken after.
I have a question, so u can like just dump water in straights away right, u don't have to really go through the holes, and it works perfectly fine, as long as u figure out not to over rate the water, ?
I just got the 8.5kg today and I can't turn the knobs to drain tjogh not in use yet but does it have to be in use for me to be able to turn the knob to drain.I hope it is not having a problem. If so how do I contact the company pls.I ordered it through amazon
Does the machine come with 1 white hose for draining the Washer & Spinner you can have on the left or right side of the machine to drain? Or 2 hoses 1 for each side? I just bought my machine from a lady online but she didn't know? Thanks for any help!
I realize this video is old but, I could use some suggestions on the drain hose. I have had the machine for a few months and it works great. It's raised so, it drains fine. But for some reason, dirt/ gunk is building up on the inner hose walls. There's no simple disconnect and I'd rather not take the bottom off.
Too bad the drums are not made of metal, blue jeans will stain the plastic and if you wash whites afterward , the whites will stain. Why did they have to build it so cheap? Def should have put a metal drum on there not plastic. I'm sure most of us would happily pay the extra for metal...and it would not be that big a difference.
Gracias, muchas gracias, no sabía cómo hacerlo, las instrucciones del manuel no se pueden leer por lo pequeña de las letras, además, no son beneficisas.
I bought a portable washer/ spin and the instruction book is the size of a index card the writing is so small. I read the whole thing it says nothing. This helped so much i was so upset with the inlet hose
Damn I thought I was the only one thinking I'd have clothes done quickly with the first use. Took me 2 hrs on my own to even understand the what the directions were indicating... only question is do I leave the spin cycle and drain or spin on normal
ok questions for you when its draining does it use a pump or is it gravity cause i actually live in a camper and it does have a washer dryer hookup so i was wondering if it was pumped out or not so i could put the hose in the waser drain if not ill prolly do like u and just put it in the shower or even use it outside and bring it in when done
I just picked up this unit for 60 bucks in fb marketplace in my area gonna put it in my travel trailer as well now if the unit is as said in my add it should work just like yours lol wish me luck, thank you so much for posting
