How To Use CSL DD in Forza Horizon 5 (2024) 

Wow, it works. What I was doing wrong was not putting it in compatible mode. I had it set to PC mode. Forza 5 is the only Forza at the moment that supports my Samsung 49 inch Ultrawide monitor .

For anyone wondering: if you have no options in layout and have this symbol on mapping(🚫) it’s likely due to being in PC mode. I had to change to the third one. Not sure what it’s called but it’s the green light not blue(PlayStation) or red(pc)

Quick and to the point. This was a simple google search. Made it a point to come make this commment to show some love. It deserved it. Hoping to find some answers. And wha la And right away you got me where I could use my fanatec ddpro and pedals for the game. Like you said it isn’t the most realistic game, but it is a fun game to whip a car around for the sake of it. Acc and iRacing is to serious for its own good and just need a little reprieve. A lot of this is just common sense. I had to follow pretty much the exact same procedures for my old PXN V9. I had to plug it into the computer before starting Steam or the game in order for it to be recognized. I also had to do a custom wheel profile. My wheel supported D-Input and X-Input, and under the standard settings (I forget if it was D or X), it thought the wheel was a controller, so I had to switch to the other version in order to build a customer wheel profile.

Thanks bro, i was bummed out when i found out the wheel wouldnt work in Horizon.

I’ve had my csl dd working with fh5 for 6months. Just updated to driver 455 (from 454) and now forza doesn’t even recognise my wheel in comp mode. Also noticed ACC only recognises pc mode now but before it was using comp mode. Fanatec control panel shows both pc mode and comp mode working. Also have the same firmware as you. I’m lost and it’s frustrating.

Hello, My Wheel does work on FH 5 but the problem is ffb aint working properly, if I drive slowly it just shakes right/left if i speed up and take deep curve it will put my wheels back but very slowly, i tried maximizing my ffb still same problem, Also tried v440 and v451 didnt make any diff

I still dont get it why the developers dont add a proper csl dd support. I played FH5 now for like 200 hours. And after every update it messes with my wheel settinhs. It sucks

Tried connecting to Xbox Series X out of box and no Force Feedback. So I need to update my firmware for forcefeedback to work on Xbox?

I can’t get 900°

My CSL DD is set to 1080, and my setting in game are also set to 1080 and yet my wheel won’t even do a full turn before hitting the soft lock. What do I do?
