Giving them a sense of security. Now, there are 2 ways to deal with someone like this: 1.) The BEST option. Walk away. Don't talk to them. Don't be friends with them. Don't listen to them. Don't trust them. Etc. 2.) If you do wanna or have to deal with a person like this. Just know you probably won't win. If you do it will most likely be because of luck. If you wanna win or even try to deal with a person like this you will have to do the exact same thing, and then some. You will have to know when they sleep, how they think, what they eat, even to what time of day they pick their nose, etc. You will have to find out everything about them, and be smarter than them 100% of the time. The blonde anime looking doctor guy from "Alice in borderland" is a good example. Meanwhile the main character Arisu only won because of luck, he played by the rules till the very end, and had help too. Friends around who supported him and helped him through. It is very difficult to deal with someone like this and majority of people can't, so it is better to walk away.
