Sir , we need to put off o2 as It can cause combustion , but when the patient is on mechanical ventilator (which is itself always connectedto an 02 source) , then we can't disconnect it ..won't it cause combustion then?!

But in cardiac arrest, we usually give maximum 200 J in biphasic device, not 270.. Can you please clarify?

Can we shock the patient with lead placed on chest Is there any problem if we shock the patient with lead placed Are ther any chance of short circuit if we shock with lead placed either of moniter lead or defibrillator machine lead . Is ther any chance of shock to oneself if we charge the paddle( but not press the shock button ) and touched it . Reply sir .

Why O2 should be removed /stop O2 source????

What's meant by shockable rhythm? Green lead is placed over apex. Should the paddle (to be placed over apex) placed over the green lead or by the side of the green lead? Does the pt need to be intubated during delivery of shocks? Any fluids to be run during delivery of shocks?
