@@gstiger19 it was very difficult for me to do it.. 🙂 powder kept getting stuck it was so irritating. Apart from that.. interproximally where scaler tip won't go.. stains will go nicely from there that's all.. in india patient gives feedback based on how much u charge them🫣 ofc I had to charge more with all the tobacco stains I took out.. so she was not soo happy..
Using a dental air polisher for cleaning endodontic cavities after placing sealer and gutta-percha is not recommended, as it's primarily used to remove plaque and stains from tooth surfaces. It's best to use specific endodontic tools and irrigation methods to avoid damaging the treatment.

Dear Dr, Greetings! No these two are completely different things... Air polisher uses compressed air to spray powder and water on the tooth surface to remove debris and stains whereas ultrasonic scaling is done manually to remove plaque and stains. Both are used to remove stains and debris but only the mechanism is different.
@@dentalkart ok dr. which is more safer. in uss bleeding will be there. many feel everlasting pain with sensitivity after manual uss. your reply will help to opt for the best dr. thank you.
Dear Dr, Air polishing is a process of using compressed air to spray powder and water on the tooth surface through air-polishing equipment to remove the attachments (such as biofilm, pigment, soft dirt, etc.) and polish the tooth surface. Air polishing has become an indispensable tool for biofilm control in the new era. Compared with traditional ultrasonic scaling, air polishing is more efficient and comfortable, causing no scratch to the tooth surface, and is less likely to harm soft tissues, so as to reduce patient tension.
